I don’t think Republicans are going to heal the culture just yet. I predict a turnabout is FairPlay reaction first and foremost.

When (if) it is healed, it will be done by republicans no doubt. But that won’t come for over a decade if it ever comes at all.

The January 6 committee can be consolidated into our congress (especially the Dems) saying "we were scared." Of course they were scared. Mobs are always scary. Maybe our congressional representatives should try to solve the problem of all mobs, rather than making such a big deal of their own safety.
