    The only real surprise is that it took this long. Their latest piece of PC garbage, "Lightyear" features lesbians making out. Fortunately, a lot of parents didn't take their children to see it and it's bombing.

    There’s more. Yes, they were in the works of making a gay Woody movie.

    BURBANK, CA—With Lightyear and its cartoon lesbian romance flopping at the box office, sources say Disney has decided to quietly pull the plug on its upcoming movie Brokeback Woody.

    "Little Bo Peep was about to find out what Woody and Pete the Prospector were really up to when they were off with the 'Roundup Gang'," said actor Chris Evans. "Such a shame. One day all the backward bigoted dinosaurs in America will die off, and our country will finally be ready for kids' cartoons with gratuitous gay toy-cowboy sex."

    Disney had planned to roll out Brokeback Woody in early 2023, followed later that year by Cars 4: Lightning McDragQueen. "It's definitely a setback," said director Angus MacLane. "We already had new Woody toys in production with a whole new set of phrases he says when you pull his string. There was 'Howdy, life partner!' and also 'Giddy up, queen!'"

    You couldn’t make this stuff up. And they swear they aren’t trying to groom kids. Take me back to the 1980’s and 1990’s. We are living during some of America’s worst times. We have the stupid creature comforts of television, internet, heat and air conditioning… yet everything else is an abysmal failure.

    The problem with the Babylon Bee part of the OP is that it's become nearly impossible to satirize the Left at this point - because within five years Disney will absolutely be doing something like that with their merch. They really seem to have forgotten who their base is.

    Yep. The same crew who have been complaining about the economy and the cost of things as well as the stock market experiencing drops are now using it to their advantage and blaming something else.

    ...So, why not go for the "Wrong Forum Daily Double"?
    Anyway, back on-topic, I am glad that I don't own any Disney Stock...
    That would suck to have a Non-Diversified Portfolio, and have one's entire life savings (and retirement funding) tied to Disney's Stock Value.

    When I worked there in ther 80's, cast members got some small amount of stock for every hour they worked there as some kinda corporate tax write-off - and when the tax-hole was erased, everyone got whatever shares they had - or for almost all of us, the shares we never knew we had. And that thing split many times - I think there was even a four-way split around 92 or so, somewhere around then. It was practically guaranteed to grow - so the fact that it's shrunk this much - I can't say I've followed it that much, but I can't remember as steep a drop in DIS as this.

    Don’t blame ya. I spent 21 years there, Moreno Valley and Corona. My wife was born and raised there, Long Beach and Menifee. Even though her father and two sisters still live in So Cal, she’ll never go back. She said you don’t realize how bad CA is until you leave.

    In his defense, the FIRST link is a real headline and - well, it's kinda hard to argue that Disney hasn't lost it's way. I mean, you have an entire corporation built on wholesomeness that seems to forgotten what brought them to the dance. And now you have Chris Evans insulting people who disagree with the direction of Lightyear - I mean, that's just plain stupid. You'da thought they'd have learned from Brie Larson badmouthing fans but noooo-o-oooo ...
