as for DNA, if we are gonna ban men playing on women's teams due to the genetic advantages... which I agree with banning them, as I agree there is a genetic advantage in some sports

then it also brings up a topic about women's DNA that give them an advantage or men's DNA that gives them an advantage - should other players be able to take drugs that replicate those advantages? what if they took those drugs before age 12?

let's give an example, a woman, takes a drug to make her more man like... should she be able to compete on the woman's team?

that was when this started, with girls wanting to play on boys teams, back then it seems logical as the school did not have girls teams - but then it morphed out of control over time, men wanting to be on the women's team made it weird

 

There once was a movement of banning discrimination in society but we are seeing those in charge going back to discrimination...See, you are not a stupid as the other poster claim you is.

 

I think you are kind of stuck with the genetic lottery you win / lose. Some people are born tall, some short, etc... Make the best with what you are born with. Not everyone can be the best at what they do, and switching your gender to get a better chance isn't appropriate imo. It's like an athlete deciding to compete with 80 year olds instead of 20 year olds because they can't keep up with their peers in competition

 

I disagree on the age thing as well.

Women as a whole are weaker and smaller than men. Some women are stronger than other women just like some men are stronger than other men. However, those weaker women are capable of getting as strong as the stronger women but are NOT capable of becoming as strong as the stronger men. Not everyone is cut out for sports.

I agree, some are born with better genetics for sports, drugs can even those odds, but many are outlawed as well

both are the same, one is seen by some as making one normal, the other is seen as making one better than normal and that is seen as unfair

 

everything can go too far, we need to ban discrimination in society, but it can go too far for sure
