To avoid the high taxes and regulations imposed by greedy, irresponsible politicians.

Isn't Chattanooga one of the most conservative cities in the US?

So, everyone is ready to run from Blue States taxes in order to enjoy the pro business Red States, but, how will they feel when they are also running from an abortion on demand state into a State that may ban it altogether?

This might slow the flow of Blue Citizens to Red States and, that may not be a bad thing.

All the north easterners and CA expats, plus foreign investors are creating a bubble in FL. They’re willing to spend more down here because things were so expensive where they moved from. So it’s problematic here. The largest model home in my neighborhood that sold for about 600k 5 yrs ago just went for over a million. They added a pool and some renovations, but that’s still INSANE!!!!

Seeing that they have a Democrat mayor I would say definitely not.

This isn’t happening like you think lol. As Dems thin out thier strongholds they will lose power. Not gain it. Plus the left is losing the culture war, all are great for this country. The world is being shown that republican policies generate growth while dem policies are a drain.

I'm not sure that means it's not compared to other cities.

Last I read Chattanooga is the seventh most conservative city in the US.

This is a fairly comprehensive list
    https://www.bestplaces.net/voting/city/tennessee/chattanooga

I would not doubt that it is rated as the 7th most conservative cities though — it still looks to lean blue. That just shows that as cities grow they turn blue naturally and this trend appears to be true in Chattanooga as well.

This was the source I used it goes by population not votes.

    https://worldpopulationreview.com/us-city-rankings/most-conservative-cities

And I am corrected Chattanooga is 5th not 7th

According to https://www.homesnacks.com/most-conservative-cities-in-america/ which is where your source is getting their data, Chattanooga is 8th.

It seems to be based on the metrics used. They are trending away from very conservative however towards moderate. 2020 saw it at +8% Republican

See this is why I don't do sources cuz then it's just a matter of who wastes enough time digging around on Google cherry-picking enough copy pasta to Outlast the other.

So whenever you ask me for a source and I refuse think about this.

Go On believing whatever the hell you want I don't care.

Factory means Chattanooga Tennessee is one of the most conservative cities in the US. You haven't changed my mind all you've done is shown me that you are not a person to go to for information on this. And you've also shown yet again that you think your opinion is fact based on nothing.

    That's actually textbook bigotry.

I haven’t tried to change your mind, I actually agreed with you. I was just digging through your sources as I found them interesting.

I didn’t mean to excite you but if you cannot handle someone even looking at your sources then I agree, you shouldn’t post them and just cite your opinion in the future.

Putting an office near a government customer is trivial no matter where the company is located. I once put an office in Toronto to allow my company to do business in Canada. It wasn't difficult.

If you actually look at an analysis of why people “flee” it is because of the high cost of living, taxes, housing and items like that. Down further on the list you have issues like homelessness and congestion — these individuals are not fleeing education, progressive ideas or environmental concerns.

That is the reason these cities slowly became more progressive — people flock to areas where there are entertainment venues, places where everyone is welcome and expression isn’t looked down on, where government policy strives to help instead of punish. So the city grows and then it resets to step 1.

It's those ideas and policies that created what is now the states they are fleeing, so why do they want to do the same to Tennessee? And we have always had great entertainment venues and places where everyone is welcome to come and hold their own opinions and our governments leave us alone instead of punishing us for various personal activities like taxes on food and snacks we choose to enjoy.

I’ve already answered this, when people move from larger cities to smaller cities they are a custom to certain amenities and certain freedoms. They will intern elect politicians that represent those ideals
