Forgive me if I didn’t join the Covid mass hysteria predicted to wipe out a large portion of the earth’s inhabitants and I use the past tense because I and millions of others already knew it wasn’t going to happen. I had that same déjà vu feeling with Avian flu 2008, Swine flu 2010, MERS 2012, Ebola 2014, ZIKA 2016, Ebola again 2018 … which all contained similar predictions of doom.

Did you notice something striking about the dates above? They’re every two year occurrences and here we are again on cue two years after Covid with the new one, Monkeypox. Am I the only one left thinking, oh no, here we go again!

Prepping for Survival

But I digress … By now a confirmed skeptic, I prepared myself for the coming holocaust by buying a small box of Lemsip which is a powdered lemon drink with added paracetamol, put on my paper mask the experts told me would protect me from airborne viruses, held my breath (as long as I could) and awaited the end.

By a miracle I survived the media reports of hospital floors littered with the dying and am now a bit cheesed off because I’ve reached the expiry date of my Lemsip sachets and will have to bin them.

But it’s then that I had my EUREKA! moment. I discovered what happened to all those unfortunates that overwhelmed the hospitals … They recovered and went home. I also like to think I was partly responsible for the later government health advice which informed the public that if they had flu to stay at home, isolate and go to bed. Common knowledge for hundreds of years, but still unknown to politicians.

“Ah yes”, you might say, “but what about the millions who died from Covid?” That depends on what you mean. The ones who died of a heart attack or in a road accident who also happened to have Covid and it was listed on the death certificate and used to produce the huge death toll statistics, or those who died from it. Even the British government finally realized the figures were bordering on the ridiculous and stopped counting, in what they politely referred to as “accuracy concerns.”

There is no doubt Covid was dangerous to the elderly with weak immune systems, or those who suffered from respiratory conditions, such as asthma or bronchitis. According to ONS statistics, 26K die in Britain every year from common flu alone, mainly the elderly. Flu of any kind is unfortunately a dangerous consequence of getting old.

Oh, the memories! The banning of non-essential items for sale. I was totally unaware that buying a pair of socks might spread the flu. And what about the poor Spanish sunbathers on the beach forced to wear face masks? Lock downs became ‘tier restrictions’ presumably to disguise the authoritarianism behind it and the term ‘freedom pass’ on condition of being vaccinated entered the vocabulary.

The government said we had to act like we had it even if we didn’t and that we who were unvaccinated and didn’t have the flu were passing it onto others who had. Given that the vaccinations didn’t prevent infection or its spread but only lessened the effects, I politely declined and prefer to open my windows, wave a towel around (go on get out, shoo, shoo) and chase the flu away as now recommended by the same experts who a year ago told us it was a deadly virus.

On a more serious note, I did notice the authoritarianism come in with a bang. The banning of freedom of movement and protests plus compulsory lock downs. The believers who have now gone relatively quiet howled for more, but was this just the start of something even more sinister?

This is what happens when we stop thinking, start believing and hand over our liberties to the politicians to decide what’s best for us. For their next trick the politicians are going to change the earth’s climate, or are we still on the open borders creating a multicultural utopia script? I forget, but be sure the nonsense won’t end with Covid.

I was in London three weeks ago. Caught up with family, had some nice bike rides and saw Top Gun at IMAX.

In my entire 4 days I saw three people wearing a mask. It seemed so noteworthy that I thought I'd photograph it:

 

Remember the hysteria of Al Gore’s ‘scientific’ evidence that the ice caps would melt in 2014? Not surprisingly, you can’t find anyone who will admit to believing it. Where’s Greta Thunberg gone? You know, the one whose mother said had “special eyes” that could see carbon rising from a dying planet?

These things come and go. The only place left for Covid is on forums and conspiracy sites. It’s not even news anymore. I strongly suspect that within a decade Covid will become another of those once upon a time subjects.

Sometimes we get dragged into a collective hysteria and even when we look around us and see it’s exaggerated out of all proportion, the peer and media persuasion is so powerful people just go along with it and I think that’s what happened with Covid.

I think you're right about how we will view all this in another 10 years.

The sad part is that many (all?) have been damaged by the shots, and many thousands have been killed by the shots.

 

And that's just for the opening starters. As the foreign manipulated mRNA substance injected into these human guinea pigs does its work over time you can expect many other billions of brainwashed stooges to get sick and die off early.

There are still people arguing about the effects of a killer disease that didn’t happen. In the UK I think we were up to three jabs plus two boosters. Why would I need jabs to protect me from something that didn’t happen? For all I know it might have been a simple saline solution, but on the other hand … No, thank you.

Still a lot of people here in WA voluntarily wearing masks. Not social distancing, not wearing gloves, not wearing surgical masks... just the designer cloth ones that even CNN long ago admitted were just 'face decoration' and useless at preventing the spread.

They're making a statement. Im not certain what the statement is, but I guess its something along the lines of the meme 'govern me harder, daddy.'

 

im a "leftist" never wallowed in anything, i know human scientific knowledge is only based on the best information available....news has lost credibility as one can see in just about any weather forecast..we have an enormous internet that makes information much more available...use IT...not for adolescent like behaiviour and quoting even more outrageous rightwing media...the is no "savior" politician coming and never will be...the issues separating our country all reside within us and how each of us views the world, take time to reflect inwardly and see if "we" just cant get along better, its really not that hard

 

The people that wanted to fire people and ban them from receiving any medical treatments for refusing a forced vaccine want us to get along.

 

"get along does not mean agree" anybody who know how science works, knows mankind explores theory's looking for evidence and constantly adjusts our field of knowledge...doing "nothing" and not attempting to slow a disease is just glorified and justified incompetence...i suspect as the minority gradually learns of all the holes in their "conspiracy theories" they will calm down begrudgingly
