Whether somebody likes Trump or not is not an ideology. Paul Ryan and Ben Sasse are conservatives who did not like Trump. Their voting records are available at American conservative union.

According to you and people like you they would have to be super commies.

Can you at least try to explain what in that post was 'authoritarian'.

You have a habit of throwing that word on the table every time you don't like what you read.

Read up a little and learn that anarchist and authoritarian are not synonymous. As a matter of fact they are not even close.

No, he didn't reject all authority he only rejected racial discrimination.

Fun fact, but Wyoming has open primaries, so it's entirely plausible that Cheney could win the primary based on Democratic votes.

Fun fact, but it takes more than winning Wyoming to become GOP presidential candidate.

GOP Presidential candidate? Oh no. I was just talking about her House seat. She could throw her hat in the ring for the Democratic race however.

Ben Sasse is not a conservative...Sasse is a neocon...Neocons are the opposite of conservative. Figure it out, just once.

Liz Cheney as a presidential candidate...? Running as the presidential candidate for which political party? Not (NOT) Republican... no, you may be CERTAIN of that!

Hint: it's one thing for any authentic whore with an agenda to 'sleep with the enemy' -- but -- it's a different matter altogether to "PULL A TRAIN"! :roflol:

Dems won't take Liz because of her love of capitalism. If she runs for president, it'll be as an independent and if she runs for president, it'll assure the next president won't have a plurality of the vote...I guess that's one way to make sure Trump doesn't become president, again.

I agree completely, except with your opening assertion, that Reich's merely quoting Cheney's speech, about Trump, could possibly have qualified as his making "a good case," for her being nominated for President. As Reich obviously knew that this was too fantastic an idea to have even the slightest chance of happening, I suspect he must have had some other angle. Perhaps he'd been using the idea to try to underscore some point, but it is not unlikely that he may have only wanted the publicity of making such a suggestion, to aid his future book sales, and to keep himself in demand, as a guest commentator.

I think that Mr. Reich has promoted many good ideas, since leaving government. This begs the question, however, where were any of the provocative sentiments or bold understandings, of his later books, when he was Secretary of Labor, in Clinton's cabinet?

So yet another way to push people out of the republican party. Brand them neocons. There goes 1/3 of the party as it currently exists. Good one! Keep out the moderates, independents, libertarians and "neocons". Let the democrats have 2/3 of the vote.

Sasse was not in office when the senate voted on Iraq and never served in congress. So what makes him a neocon? He supports what we are doing in Ukraine but so does almost all republicans.

I infer neocons to be 9 percent of the GOP...And neocons aren't loyal to the GOP...Meh, being loyal to any party has its upside and downside.

Spoken like a true non-conservative who poses as conservative...Please, don't get hung up in nouns. For example, ANTIFA is fascist even though anti-fascist is in the name...BLM is for socialist lives and not black lives...Neocons aren't conservative...That's why, for example, neocons are neo or new conservatives (they're the opposite of conservative while they pose as conservatives).

If you really believe that Cheney will be in a power after the next election, you will believe anything. Hopium is indeed addictive.

You keep making my point for me.

I'm not a conservative! I have said that many times. I'm a centrist with some liberal views. I'm against the death penalty, I think religion is stupid, I believe in the legalization of some drugs and I'm against stupid idiot wars. . I also voted for Trump.

I, like you think the democrats race ideology is evil. I think climate change is a fraud and I believe in capitalism. I like you reject their attempts to destroy civil liberties in this country. But you don't want my vote. You want people like me to vote democrat. I according to you am a "non-conservative.".

9%? Bullcrap! Try 90%. 90% of republicans would support a stupid idiotic war they are doing it right now. They have not changed.

Just look at the rhetoric pertaining to Afghanistan. They talk about that worthless country like it is the 51st state. Like losing it(It does not belong to us) is like losing Ohio. That is neocon colonialism! Tom Cotton demanding we have a strategy for winning a war we are not even fighting is neocon.

Not sure if you understand math or not but when there are just 2 political parties that matter you need to appeal to 50% of the electorate. How do you do that by outing people?

1/3 are neo-cons, 1/3 are populist pseudo-cons (Trump supporters) and I assume 1/3 are a mix of moderates and conservatives.

No, I am pretty sure she will lose her seat in November. She failed to show 100% party loyalty, and it comes with a price in GOP.

Liz is heading towards your side of the aisle, although it would be comedy gold for Maxine Waters to run for President of any party; the soundbites she would make!
