    Absolutely agree with your first sentence, but Jones is in that grey area when it comes to violence. He may not PERSONALLY be violent, but his words have led to violence...

    Also, would you want ALEX JONES to be performing community service, amongst good needy people? Put this guy on a suicide hotline and the suicide numbers would skyrocket..

    The only community service I would allow this guy is eternal highway beautification.... would be good for his waistline too....

    I have no idea exactly when the lawyer ****ed up, but I'd have to imagine it was relatively recently..

    I follow this guy as little as possible, but yesterdays news was too good to pass on.

    All I know is he is in the first (of three) payout determination "trials".... and this incident brings actual criminal charges into play...

    This is much like the Salem witch trials. BTW, why did no MSM argue against Jones on Sandy Hook victims behalf? Simple: no one was paying attention to Alex Jones so there was no money in it.

    It wouldn't matter if he screwed up because the only alternative is being imprisoned. He would have to be a bigger idiot than he already is to mess up community service.

    There is no exposure if he tasked with highway beautification. The goal is for him to meet the people that have the hard jobs by facing the aftermath of what attempted murder/murder looks like. It's harmful and reckless to flood his audience with his "armchair expertise" about something with which is clearly not familiar. If nothing else, it should temper his "tone" in the future.

    As they say "walk a mile in somebody else's moccasins.".

    This is a civil suit — if you position that the courts should shut down because we have record low unemployment and cons hate the president real real bad?

    You are thinking about it from Jones' standpoint. Think about the poor people who would have to "meet" with him... What did they ever do to warrant that punishment?

    I think he's a lost cause for even partial salvation, society-wise. I'm not necessarily for imprisoning him IN PRINCIPLE, but since that is still the preferred way to handle criminals in this world, he's now a prime candidate for his perjury... plus bankrupting his wealthy ass for life....

    iirc: The lawyer said yesterday that it was 12 days ago that he got it and he disclosed the info to Jones/court yesterday.

    "Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis have asked jurors for $150 million     in compensation for actual damages, saying Jones portrayal of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting as a hoax meant to justify a government crackdown on guns — and parents as liars or collaborators — inspired harassment and death threats from Jones followers and made it impossible to heal from the tragedy.

    Jones' lawyer, Andino Reynal, asked jurors to award a total of $8 — $1 for each of the eight harms the court has already found Jones and his main company, Free Speech Systems, to have inflicted on Jesse's parents.


    At least 10 of the 12 jurors must agree on a verdict    . The four alternates, two more than typical due to the pandemic and the length of the two-week trial, were dismissed Thursday."

    Anyone can dig up a random link and throw non-credible sources around. Have you attended college? Do you know what a credible source is? There is no information on that author whatsoever. A GW graduate with a degree in political science? Yeah, that doesn’t scream bias right out of the gate.
