After all the calls to “lock her up” this has just occurred

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-tells-judge-too-busy-185041560.html
I can honestly say I am not surprised that “Teflon Don” does not think laws apply to him - not even the statute of limitations. So what is this lawsuit about?

    https://lawandcrime.com/lawsuit/tru...in-the-unrelenting-demands-of-the-presidency/

And yet he had time to play golf

    Lots and lots of golf

And hold rallies and go on Faux and Friends and……….

His lack of actual work ethic was legendary - with vast amounts of time during his day sequestered for “executive time” where he apparently watched TV and avoided work

That is just funny. Am I to understand he missed the statutory deadline to sue HRC and now his excuse is "he was too busy?" That's like "my dog ate my homework" sort of argument.

This will be denied by the judge. It is not a legal "exception" in which the statute of limitations would be lifted here and the judge making new law.

BTW, his lawyers, privately, are probably laughing their arses off when DJT told them this is the argument.

Why do foreigners have such a fascination, no, an obsession, with an American who is no longer in office? For the life of me I can’t name a single Australian politician, but I do know that country went full fascist with how they reacted to the China virus question. (historians will know that phrase)

Anyway, democrats, especially Soros funded democrats, have no problem ignoring our laws or inventing new ones when it suits them. Why should this case be any different?

Failure to address the issue, plus deflection to the other side of the Pacific noted……

Nice. Have you noted and commented on similarities in other threads where just about all of them are subject to defections by bringing up, always bringing up, one of the subjects of this thread?

Regardless of the statute of limitations, do you have an opinion regarding the issues in the lawsuit?

Yes, the man that golfed more than any of his predecessors, double many of them — was “too busy” grifting every dime he could.

    His base doesn’t care

Yes, I will, unlike you, address the subject of the thread.

This serves to highlight, once again, the characteristics of The Stain which should forever disqualify him from the minds of voters for any future office. His incompetence in being able to properly file a lawsuit (was he being advised by Rudy, or perhaps Kraken Girl…??) speaks volumes of his lack of fitness to lead and preside. His pitiful excuse that “he was too busy” speaks to his inability to truthfully assess a situation. And his crippling narcissism plus his adolescent need for vengeance (even after he won!) speak loudest of his unstable mental state.

But hey, don’t let any of that stop you in nominating him again……we could enjoy another belly laugh over here….!

You addressed nothing about the thread, you merely announced your hatred.

The thread is about a lawsuit. I asked you if, the statute of limitations aside, he is he correct in his accusation? Now if you can respond without using the words stain, Kraken, narcissism, or other examples of your hate, then we can discuss the lawsuit, it’s validity and so on. But I refuse to entertain hatred as I’m not an intolerant liberal who can’t wake up each morning without my daily dose of it.

In another thread a leftist, while defending criminals (does that surprise anyone?) went through great pains explaining how our legal system should use discretion when taking cases to court. Are the libs who agreed with him now against him?

Disclaimer: I'm not a secretary or scheduler but I crunched some numbers and it looks like he could have moved a few things around to fit in complying with our laws and statutes of limitations. Maybe something akin to how the rest of us with responsibilities do it./smdh

So Trump had time to hire an investigative team to look into Obama's birth certificate, but not enough time to sue Hilary. As if Trump would be doing all the legwork. Laughable.

    Wroooong..!

This thread is about The Stain’s management of the law suit…go check the title and the initial comment…

    That’s ok…anyone can make a mistake…

Oh…and the other mistake you commit is confusing hatred with ridicule…

His lawyers have been giving him plausible deniability for decades. Consider how horribly he behaves in public, they probably are getting some kind of hazard duty pay to endure his craziness in private.

Honestly, the far RW ignoring and dismissing how often this grifter shirked his duties to the nation and instead carried on his personal business on the golf course under the POTUS seal is simply atrocious. Of course, given all the other criminal and self serving he was doing in the Oval makes his golfing grift pale.

    1. As I have said a zillion times here, when POTUS farts, the whole Planet gets a whiff.
    2. Sure, he is no longer in Office, but it seems he seeks to regain office.

Maybe it is time you learned something about Politics outside the USA which, while you might think it is, is no longer the centre of the Universe.

I’ve said the same thing, and right now you’re whiffing inflation and a recession. Welcome to Biden’s farts.

I have the same question. As I have said before in other threads, I do not give a flying [expletive] about Australian politics, so it seems pretty strange to me that someone in Australia would be obsessed with American politics or think they can conduct a nuanced discussion about American politics or our judicial system.
