‘Life-threatening’ floods force evacuations in Sydney, Australia
Thousands of residents in Sydney’s suburbs are ordered to evacuate amid torrential rains and the threat of flash floods.

Thousands of residents have been ordered to evacuate southwest Sydney, Australia’s biggest city, with torrential rain and damaging winds pounding the east coast and floods expected to be worse than those that hit the region in the past year.

Heavy rain and overflowing dams and rivers all combined to threaten flash floods and landslides along the east coast from Newcastle to Batemans Bay in New South Wales state on Sunday, and rain was expected to intensify in the night. .

When you have a government that is based on democracy, isn't it counterintuitive to be leaning towards communism? Watered down ideologies of socialism. Am I scared of communism, I wouldn't say scared, wary of, maybe? Yes and no. A gradual change into it wouldn't be as painful or disruptive to the way of life we live now but thrust the massive change on us and everyone would be screaming blue murder. I think it's the change from what we know and experience now and the uncertainty of what our version of communism would be like. Either way, it's all just a game, this life. Here for a short time, not a long time.

Unfortunate for many. Luckily I live on high ground. Do you blame Canada for this? :)

Communism is pretty dead now. North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam all unthreatening.

It has nothing to offer us.

You forgot our largest threat. China. They have a very keen and invested interest in Australia, also, they are the ones who manipulate our politics.

China is a hybrid so it seems to think that Communism doesn’t work on its own.
Ps. Yes, China is behaving malignantly.

Close to the region. Alaska hosts H.A.A.R.P, and there are many smaller versions around the world that all manipulate the weather.

I did find something interesting in my researching travels. When HAARP and weather manipulation began and the "discovery" of the El Nino & El Nina events occurred.

Yes, it is a hybrid. Because they have perfected communism. Most all communist countries that were, are not anymore (Russia, an example), and those that are N. Korea, Cuba etc are impoverished nations/states. Yet China has powered on.

What makes you think they have 'perfected' communism. Have you read Marx? The modern Chinese State looks nothing like a mature Communist State as described in the primary text on the subject. Where in communism are large, publicly listed (on stock exchanges no less!) companies allowed to make profits and distribute them in part to the shareholders? All assets in a 'perfect' communist state are owned by the State.

~ You should ask Jack Ma if China is a perfect Communist government — if you can find him .

Pfft, who wants to waste time reading that rubbish.
They are the prefered model of governance in the eyes of the Globalists. Just look at all the fancy gear that got going. A social credit system, to keep dissent in check, cameras everywhere, hooked up to facial recognition software, which hooked back up to the social credit system. If Xi's Happy, the rest of China is not. So that makes it perfect. All unhappy little vegemites.

Then perhaps you shouldn't pontificate about communism, or make claims that China has perfected 'it'. Let's be perfectly clear. China is not the 'perfect' communist State. Approaching the 'perfect' dictatorship? Perhaps. But no-where near perfect communism. Dont say it if it's not true.

Interesting review of a book by Jim Molan.

“Eagle eyes are on Taiwan, but is China distracting us from a ‘second Pearl Harbour’?

The first sign that it’s started is when the world’s internet fails and showers of shooting stars fill the sky.

Vital undersea cables have been cut by specialist subs and ships and intensive cyberattacks are under way; the shooting stars are satellites falling to earth.
With surveillance satellites destroyed, they can’t detect the launch of China’s missiles. The first wave slams into US air force and navy bases across the Western Pacific, almost simultaneously.

Beijing has not used its nuclear warheads, but it doesn’t need to. Its high-explosive missiles are accurate to within 10 metres through mid-course correction.“
From the Melbourne The Age this morning.

This is a pretty good thing to happen.

A centre dedicated to finding treatment for future pandemics has been launched in Melbourne with the largest philanthropic donation to Australian medical research ever.
Canadian philanthropist and businessman Geoff Cumming will donate $250 million to the University of Melbourne to establish the centre, which will be named The Cumming Global Centre for Pandemic Therapeutics.
Cumming and his wife Anna were on hand for Wednesday’s announcement. He said there were four reasons he chose Melbourne for the centre: the sustained investment in medical research in Victoria; the breadth of the city’s medical research “ecosystem”; the collegiality of researchers in the city; and, because he admired the way Australia had responded to the COVID-19 pandemic.
