The classifying owner, Trump, said he declassified it. There are several quotes on the internet. Do you not understand the meaning of the words "those files were declassified"?

Do you not understand that there processes for declassification of sensitive materials involves more than Trump waving a magic wand? Depending on the level of classification and the contents of the classified document various departments are involved. If the FBI is raiding his home for these documents then it seems reasonable that the proper procedures for declassification were not followed.

My evidence that he did not follow the property procedures to declassify the seized documents is that they were seized. That’s assuming he even tried to declassify them in the first place. Of course if they actually were declassified then he and his lawyers should have no problem proving that in court. Something tells me he’s going to have a tough time.
