Are these pretend “crime bosses”? What did Obama do? Biden? Got any evidence? You know information not gleaned from someone calling themselves Q?

I don't recall asking you what you are comfortable with. Am I missing something?

I don't recall asking your permission before I quoted your post and answered it how I liked. I get to tell you, if you happen to click on what I type. You are free to self censor and not read what I type. I won't be hurt.

Its not that one has to ask for permission before replying, but your reply was written as if I had asked you a question and I specifically had not. I just found that puzzling, thus I mentioned it.

    No offense.

I loathe Trump, as any sane person would, once they become aware of who the man is, what he's done, what he does, what he says.
Trump is not my enemy, he's the world's enemy, a veritable monster.
Folly? You defend folly if you defend Trump. So, are you defending Trump, or are you not?

    As for TDS:

You completely, 100% avoided my point and turned it into a generic rant about Trump...again.

    You need help.

Since he lies pathologically there is no way for a potential defense attorney to know if Trump is telling him/her the truth.

Getting back to you cheering for denying a citizen legal representation, why to you think this is a good thing?

That's not a reasonable argument. Is "hate/dislike" all that is required to justify denying legal representation?

Where did I suggest that he should be denied legal representation? Better yet, please provide examples of Dems denying Trump access to legal representation. His past actions with respect to lawyers is the only reason he is having a hard time finding a lawyer to represent him. I am not cheering for the denial of representation - I am simply pointing out that not paying lawyers, as has been his way, has reaped Trump a very difficult road in finding someone to represent him. You can blame Dems for lots of things, but this isn't one of them.

Trump is famous for not paying his lawyers and not listening to their advice. They might be able to work around the "not paying" part by bilking more of Trump's followers for donations, but I doubt Trump would be okay with anyone but him doing that. The "not listening" part is probably the bigger problem, though.

    @Doofenshmirtz
No one is "denying him legal representation." The only way to do that would be to somehow deny him a public defender or try to make it illegal, somehow, for people to willingly represent him. Neither of which is happening. He has, and always has had, the right to legal representation.

Again, where do you come up with this stuff? No one is saying he doesn't, or shouldn't get a defense.

Can you list attorneys who have become targets solely for representing Trump?

Its not illegal to represent him. Just make sure you can afford to defend yourself against the mighty DOJ/IRS.

It was inferred that they deserve it. Personally, I don't think the "lock her up" / "lock him up" lemmings understand what they are cheering for. Its not good for the country. One day, a dem will get the trump treatment.

So he isn't being denied legal representation.

Trump can afford it. He just won't pay it. He's more equipped (aside from what appears to be obvious guilt here) to defend himself than any of us are.

They'll get investigated for illegally retaining classified, top secret information after being given several chances to return it? Good. I don't think that the "just let it go" lemmings understand what they are cheering for. It's way worse to hold an ex-President entirely above the law than to treat him with kid gloves but pursue it anyway.

Are you seriously going to sit here and pretend no political figure should ever be investigated . . . because you are worried it will piss people off?

Clever wording. Of all those targeted, their affiliation/support for trump/GOP was a mere coincidence. I can't read minds or prove otherwise. We just have to trust that the power is being used fairly and responsibly. [/sarcasm]

Trump hasn't lost any rights here nor he is he being prohibited to have legal counsel. If he were charged with a crime and nobody agreed to represent him, he'd be assigned public counsel.

There is no civil right in this country to force a private attorney to represent you.

Again, can you provide a list of 'all those targeted'? As for my 'clever wording', the subject is about lawyers working for Trump - so asking for the attorneys who have been targeted because of their work for Trump is not 'clever'.
