It was funny. Especially considering the price tags for oil, gas, nickel, plasma .... and food in Western countries.

I suppose I don’t know what you’re talking about. What countries did he buy?

That’s not just Russia. Our own moronic government has some fault on that. Along with the liberals who defend this anti oil and gas line push.

We are talking about the Nishtadt Peace Treaty, which ended the Northern War between Russia and Sweden. According to him, the plot. Karelia, Estonia, Ingermanland and Livonia went to Peter I for 2 million efim (silver coins) – this is almost 56 tons of silver. All these territories at that time belonged to the Swedes, who in this way replenished their coffers well. Russia has become the rightful owner of the Baltic lands

And how does that negate the fact that Russia sold the US Alaska?

If we go back far enough...

Kievan Rus', alternatively Kyivan Rus',[2][3][4][5] (Old East Slavic: Роусь, romanized: Rusĭ, or роусьскаѧ землѧ, romanized: rusĭskaę zemlę, lit. 'Rus' land'; Old Norse: Garðaríki)[6][7] was a state in Eastern and Northern Europe from the late 9th to the mid-13th century.[8][9] Encompassing a variety of polities and peoples, including East Slavic, Norse,[10][11] and Finnic, it was ruled by the Rurik dynasty, founded by the Varangian prince Rurik.[9] The modern nations of Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine all claim Kievan Rus' as their cultural ancestor,[12] with Belarus and Russia deriving their names from it. At its greatest extent in the mid-11th century, Kievan Rus' stretched from the White Sea in the north to the Black Sea in the south and from the headwaters of the Vistula in the west to the Taman Peninsula in the east,[13][14] uniting the East Slavic tribes.[8]

According to the Primary Chronicle, the first ruler to start uniting East Slavic lands into what would become Kievan Rus' was Prince Oleg (879–912). He extended his control from Novgorod south along the Dnieper river valley to protect trade from Khazar incursions from the east,[8] and moved his capital to the more strategic Kiev. Sviatoslav I (943–972) achieved the first major expansion of Kievan Rus' territorial control, fighting a war of conquest against the Khazars. Vladimir the Great (980–1015) introduced Christianity with his own baptism and, by decree, extended it to all inhabitants of Kiev and beyond. Kievan Rus' reached its greatest extent under Yaroslav the Wise (1019–1054); his sons assembled and issued its first written legal code, the Russkaya Pravda, shortly after his death.[15]

... Kyiv should be governing Russia.

As the President of Russia said, "Russians will go to heaven, but the rest will simply die."
I have already quoted him, but I will repeat for you again. The Russians are ready for a nuclear war. You are ready?

Putler lies. There is no heaven. You'll just be a rotting, radioactive corpse, assuming there is anything left of you at all.

Can you prove that God does not exist?

I don't have to. You can't prove that it does.

You're a funny one. You like to tout Communism as well, yet Communism is an atheistic ideology. Russian Christians were persecuted under Communism and Christianity was called an opiate of the masses.

Marx argued that people seek comfort in religion and that religion suppresses emancipatory politics, thereby preventing the masses from revolting against those in power.

I can see why Putler relies on it. ;)

I, too, have friends in Germany, and they can tell you even much worse stories than that about how Germans (GERMANS) have gotten **** on repeatedly, while migrants were being treated like royalty by the Merkel government. And, this Scholz government they have now won't be one damned bit better.

You can’t prove alternate dimensions, invisible people, or unicorns. Likewise you can’t prove they don’t exist either. So this argument is always fruitless.

What does that have to do with Alaska? I don’t know this history of Sweden so I’m not going to debate it. It’s likely as baseless as the Russian Ukrainian argument

You're quoting a crazed dictator. Show me the conscript soldiers armed with mosin nagants saying that.

I'll bet our missile defense and actual maintenance and functional technology over your puffery any day of the week. Touch the stove.

Why would Putin say that? After all, he is a member of the Russian Orthodox Church, and there is no dogma in its belief system which holds that only Russians receive any 'special treatment' from God.

I disregard religious claims the same way I disregard UFO, bigfoot and other such claims. Thus I do not base my actions on such claims, so it does potentilaly have a practical effect.

Purveyor wants to use heaven as an excuse to do something monumentally stupid (suicidal) with nuclear weapons. Like a jihadist, he wants to argue that such an act would be justified based on religious claims.

I expect the media will be full of alarming reports as soon as any signs of Rashka preparing a nuclear attack become apparent.

Then NATO militaries will kick your sorry ass.

And the media will provide non-stop coverage of this.

Again you compare wet with red. "Faith" and "religion" are different concepts.
"Faith" is the spiritual embodiment of consciousness.
"Religion" (any) is a way for fraudsters to exploit the concept of "faith" for their own selfish purposes.
