He said so because he meant - the Russians are fighting for a just cause (protecting their country from the aggressive expansion of NATO) and for their friends (Russians in the republics of the DPR, LPR and other republics). According to Orthodox canons - if a warrior died defending a just cause and his friends, then he 100% goes to heaven.
And even if a nuclear apocalypse happens, then protecting their foundations, all Russians will go to heaven.
At the same time, he invested in the concept of Russian all the inhabitants of Russia.
You probably know that a lot of different nationalities and religions live in Russia. But in case of war, all nationalities consider themselves Russian.
One example. In Russia in the 90s there was a civil war in the Chechen Republic. And look at how the Chechens are fighting today.
For example, a video on mobilization in Chechnya. Look how many Chechen volunteers want to defend Russia. Although they are not Russian by blood, nor are they Orthodox by faith, they all consider themselves Russian in case of war.
The video is short, therefore it is not inserted into the comment. Please follow the link. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uYMgNFBEOKE

And if, for example, you leave to live in Russia, then you will be treated the same as any other person. There are no racial and religious prejudices in Russia. Perhaps this is due to the fact that historically many hundreds of nationalities live in Russia and they have always used a different religion, and therefore have long learned to live side by side and respect each other's customs and traditions.
In Russia, no one is interested in your nationality, in Russia it is important what kind of person you are.

Therefore, the Western military is smart enough to keep silent. Because they know reality.

I'm wondering why you keep talking about ass? "They'll kick their asses", "They kick their asses"...etc. For you - ass number one in importance?
For example, Russians say "Save your soul", and you say - "Save your ass".
    What is it connected with?

    This is hilarious.
Russia does not recognise unions of previously autonomous regions as legitimate and then wants to incorporate autonomous regions into one state!!
Are you completely blind to gross irony??

By the way, the Left expects discontent to continue to grow.
Only 43% of East Germans and 58% of West Germans believe that "you can always express yourself freely without getting into trouble", compared to 50 and 63% respectively two years ago. Economically, the East is only very slowly catching up with the West, they added.
Søren Pellmann, the representative of East Germany's Left Party in the Bundestag, called the results of the study unsurprising. "This is just the beginning," Pellmann commented. "Disappointment and dissatisfaction can reach historic proportions, especially in the East, in winter due to the rise in prices." Political unrest is quite possible, he said. The left wants to "direct discontent into democratic channels" through social protests. https://www.welt.de/politik/deutsch...rozent-der-Ostdeutschen-sind-enttaeuscht.html

I would worry about the murder and abuse by the Russian army of innocent people and leave badly paraphrased ancient stories in the dust where they belong.
I also note you are actively seeking to forcibly add immigrants to the Russian population. You should treat them better.

Comrade Pooteen is first and foremost a criminal mind who lies to, and deceives his people.
And he also knows that lying about religion is perfect to get the stupid ones on his side. :(

Can you offer facts as to why the German temporary welcome of immigrants is "ruinous"?

In the former Great Britain, the stock market crashed after the announcement of the plans of the new government https://www.reuters.com/markets/eur...arteng-seeks-end-cycle-stagnation-2022-09-23/ https://www.theguardian.com/busines...-budget-tax-cuts-kwasi-kwarteng-business-live

I wonder how things are in France? After turning off the lights even the Eiffel Tower in the evening, do you walk around with a flashlight? Or already with a flambeau?
And do you know why dinosaurs are smarter than Europeans? Because dinosaurs died of cold through no fault of their own.

Not new. In fact, nobody can always express himself freely without encountering opposition. Nowhere in the world!

But this has nothing to do with your topic, bro. :)

Why are you changing the subject?
The OP is about Russia declaring the unifying of autonomous regions is illegitimate.
I am still astonished at the irony of that as you post it as some legitimate POV when Russia in corruptly trying to erase national borders and bring them under Russian control.
I am really astonished you even tried to fly your OP.

Most of what he writes has nothing to do with the OP.
DOF doesn't understand freedom of opinion and expression.

Just to play your silly game, I have never walked around by the light of the Eiffel Tower.
Nor I am sure has anyone else.

Russia is an outside observer at the referendum in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye.
The republics hold a referendum on an important decision. That is, they do everything according to international legal standards.
The unification of Germany took place without a referendum. This not only contradicts international legal standards, but also contradicts the German legislation of both Germanys.
Are you able to recognize the difference?

Indeed I am able to recognise the differences.
Especially when the one who reports the basis for the referendums is clearly motivated to use misinformation and a creative approach to the truth.

Can you prove it? Or you just talk about your preferences - if you like it, then the information is true and correct, if you don't like it, then the information is false and bad .... This is not new ... Ostriches, for example, hide their heads in the sand.

    Real French.

    Who initiated the referendums?
To whom are the results reported?

Since when is soldiers knocking on your door demanding you vote and vote a certain way "international standards"?

"The East German government started to falter in May 1989, when the removal of Hungary's border fence with Austria opened a hole in the Iron Curtain. The border was still closely guarded, but the Pan-European Picnic and the indecisive reaction of the rulers of the Eastern Bloc set in motion an irreversible peaceful movement.[2][3] It allowed an exodus of thousands of East Germans fleeing to West Germany via Hungary. The Peaceful Revolution, a series of protests by East Germans, led to the GDR's first free elections on 18 March 1990 and to the negotiations between the GDR (East Germany) and FRG (West Germany) that culminated in a Unification Treaty.[1]"

It wasn't a referendum. It was an election.an official election without coercion.
East Germany cease to exist on 3 october 1990 by demand of the people.

Thank you! Yours is an interesting, and plausible explanation for any country or culture linking "just cause" with positive reinforcement in one's religious belief. Something remarkably similar can be seen in Islamic countries and the teachings found in their holy book, the Quran, which instructs the 'true believers' in what the proper conduct toward "Infidels" is.

I'm not be derisive, really. Nearly every country wants (as Bob Dylan wrote in a song), "God On Their Side". During the Crusades, Popes in the Roman Catholic Church blessed and strongly encouraged those who went to go fight against Islam. More recently, in World War I, Church of England prelates actively stirred-up anti-German sentiment in Britain, encouraging men to fight in their own "just cause" -- and -- in World War II, German priests and bishops blessed soldiers of the Wehrmacht in their fight for the Third Reich... another "just cause".

I'm certain you know all this; indeed, it's nothing new. But when any religion starts inculcating its adherents with the notion that the ambitions of its host-country constitute a "just cause" for war, it makes it just that much more certain that far larger, more devastating conflict is about to descend on everyone, friend and foe alike.
