Well, it's an irony, Pixie... many Germans and years' worth of news articles about the criminal activity and flagrant 'misbehavior' of immigrants throughout Germany during the long years of the Merkel chancellorship should tell you what you want to know without me having to produce a compendium of substantiation. But, without it, you may retort that without proof, there is no veracity. I prefer that to having to go back ten years and dredging up news stories about the horrors of Muslim men (and others) rioting and molesting German women everywhere from Köln to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

It's been 'ruinous' to German culture, in much the same way that many in your country, France, feel that teeming masses of poorly-controlled migrant populations have been ruinous to French culture.

But, as I said, it's an irony. And I enjoy provoking my German friends by reminding them that way back in the 1960's, it was the Germans themselves who welcomed-in large numbers of Turks to Germany. Why? Because they wanted lots of cheap manual labor that the Germans had become too 'high-and-mighty' to do themselves! And in much the same way that Korporate Amerika grew to be enamored with cheap foreign labor, German corporations grew ever fatter on reduced labor costs to their bottom-line. Besides, the Turks were generally very good workers, they learned the German language quickly, and although they never really 'assimilated' into German society and culture, their numbers were, uh, manageable.

Merkel changed ALL that during her many years of ruling over Germany, and now the larger urban areas of Germany have swarms of impoverished migrants from all over the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe everywhere. I'm told that larger metro areas in France are in much the same shape, but I'll let you comment on that, if you want to.

    1. Referendums were initiated by representatives of the population in the government of the republics. The leaders of the republics supported the idea of a referendum.
    2. The results of referendums are reported to the election commissions of the republics. Where, by the way, there are observers from around the world, including representatives of the EU and the US.
    I don't understand what you don't like?

The most important indicator of human beliefs is the absence of double standards.
For example. If a person did not protest when the United States invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya .... if a person did not protest when NATO countries bombed Yugoslavia .... then the protests of such a person against Russia in Ukraine are worth nothing. Is not it?

I am not sure what news you read but I am sure that during these pré Brexit years in the UK, and bad press about German immigration would have been sprayed all over the media.
    It wasn't.
There were a couple of incidents out of the many who went to Germany but the reports were of the vast number of those who settled well into the country, trained and found jobs and stayed.
Immigration into France is mostly into Paris and Marseilles. It is he source of much poverty where it occurs but is not a national horror story. The issues are drugs and smuggling, not rape and murder.I wouldn't call it swarms impoverishment everywhere. Indeed much of France is eerily white.

    Can you prove that?
And who told the representative puppets to hold a referendum?

    They protested loudly.
I am guessing the Russian people didn't protest Russian involvement in Afghanistan and Syria either.

Today I looked at the tape of election commissions, and I can reassure you - referendums have taken place in all the republics.
According to the exit polls, for example, in Zaporozhye, 93% of the population voted for joining Russia.
I think that the Russians will satisfy the requests of the inhabitants of the republics and accept these republics as part of Russia.
By the way, I read an article by an American economist, where he says that the regions that held the referendum produced more than 90% of Ukrainian GDP. And now these regions will work for the benefit of Russia. Agree, this is good news. Is not it?
And by the way, in Paris put out the grocery wholesale market?

The Russians have approved and continue to approve of Russia's presence in Afghanistan and Syria.
For example, in Afghanistan, the Russians built many schools, hospitals, created industry, built hydroelectric power plants .... and developed this country in every possible way. By the way, today the Afghan authorities are asking the Russians to return to Afghanistan.
Russians in Syria at the invitation of the legally elected government of Syria. They help the Syrians cleanse the country of terrorists.
Why should the Russians be against the development and security of these countries?
By the way, the Russians also approve of the liberation of Ukraine from the Nazis. And the people of Ukraine are happy about this, as evidenced by the referendum data.

Alaska was a bit dodgy too. When is Putin holding the referendum and is anyone going to tell Alaskans they're now Russians?

You have come nowhere near proving this was not instigated by Russia.

Russia ran like little rabbits out of Afghanistan. They now want to exploit it.
    Very noble.

I don't have to prove anything to anyone.
Did the referendum happen? - Happened!
Did the peoples of these republics vote for joining Russia? - Yes!.
And this is an irrefutable fact.
Like it or not, the Russians don't care about your opinion. And this is also a fact.

Do not confuse the organized exit of the Russians from Afghanistan and the flight of NATO from Afghanistan.
After the Russians left Afghanistan, Najibula's regime lasted three years.
Afghans collaborating with NATO fled clinging to the landing gear of aircraft.

    Afghans escort the Soviet troops.

    Sigh.
You couldn't really think that is an even dubious representation of reality.
It is an insult to most of the population even in those disputed regions.

As Bismarck said, "Diplomacy is the art of the possible."
And if the Russians have increased their territory, then they can do it.
But you can write whatever you want. What matters is what happens in reality.
By the way, I am sure that the Russians will increase their territory even more.
I don’t know how much, but there is no doubt that they will increase it.

And you didn't answer - put out the fire at the wholesale food market in Paris? Or is it still on?

And further. I've always wondered why there are so many rats in Paris? It looks like rats are everywhere. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the streets of the city ... - in the evening there are rats everywhere. Are you afraid of the spread of diseases? Like the plague?
Video of the streets of Paris. You will not see this in Russian cities.

A cup for sale on the internet.

Now we've both posted irrelevancies. No one gives a **** 1) what the Spaniards think on any subject and haven't since the Spanish Armada; 2) what a print sheet rag writer has to say.

You're losing to a nation less than half your size and GDP that is using our cast offs. Not just losing to, they're threatening to take a little bacon off of your back in recompense.
They don't have any of our more advanced war material or training or GDP to push it with.

Truth? Russia conducted a responsible, orderly exit from Afghanistan. It was WE the great and powerful United States who "ran like little rabbits out of Afghanistan", thanks to the bumbling, inept idiocy and naivete of the Biden government and the morons he had handling the whole thing. We hadn't endured anything so humiliating and demoralizing since our 'exit' from Vietnam! Indeed, the way we conducted this catastrophic exit from Afghanistan is very likely what inspired both Putin and Xi Jinping to think, "This is our chance! With these Democrat Party idiots in power, we should move quickly to achieve goals we've desired for many years!" And THAT is exactly what we are witnessing today!

The Russian propagandists don't get very far with most Americans but they do get credit for persistence.
