    Title shortened for space.

Ukrainian “Hit List” Publishes Names and Addresses of Alleged “Russian Propagandists:” Turns Out to be Based Not in Ukraine But in Langley VA Where CIA Headquarters Is Located - Global ResearchGlobal Research - Centre for Research on Globalization

Gosh, Alex Jones was right--there IS a war on for our minds.

Is one of the goals of this operation to inflame citizens to strike out against listed targets?

It seems the Dakota driver who killed the young man last week would be easily influenced.

A certified tin foil hat conspiracy web site. Congrats, you've been brainwashed.

Seriously, do you actually believe this crap?

Oh, and BTW, Jones hasn't been right about anything, ever.

    mediabias.....
Run by a man with a ""Communications Degree in college"" Dave Van Zandt

The flagrant and simplistic nature of these bogus critiques suggests that Media Bias Fact Check is either inept and/or dishonest.
    https://www.justfactsdaily.com/media-bias-fact-check-incompetent-or-dishonest

Discredited, self-styled ‘fact-checker’ website was served with a ‘cease and desist’ legal notice today for publishing unsubstantiated and defamatory claims against Principia Scientific International (PSI).
MEDIA BIAS/FACT CHECK site owner admits he is unqualified and misrepresented himself as a seasoned journalist.
    https://climatechangedispatch.com/media-bias-fact-check-site-served-cease-and-desist/

Media Bias/Fact Check bills itself as "The most comprehensive media bias resource." It's run by Dave Van Zandt, making it fair to say it's run by "some guy" ("Dave studied Communications in college" is his main claim to expertise).
We have nothing against "some guy" possessing expertise despite a lack of qualifications, of course. One doesn't need a degree or awards (or audience) to be right about stuff. But is Van Zandt and his Media Bias/Fact Check right about PolitiFact?
    https://www.politifactbias.com/2017/10/can-you-trust-what-media-biasfact-check.html

Media Bias Fact Check Is a Major SCAM to Silence the Right
    https://www.independentsentinel.com/media-bias-fact-checking-scam-silence-right/

Don't trust Fact checkers, especially not this one. It favors fake news on the left, and to true sites that are not on the mainstream media, it labels as conspiracy theory and junk pseudo science, when the truth is just the opposite. This website is as biased and as full of lies as you get.
    https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/mediabiasfactcheck.com

Conservatives have criticized the liberal "fact-checking" website for being subjective and often outright false.[19][20][21] On their "10 Best Fact Checking Sites," they list several objectively false and generally inaccurate left-wing "fact-checkers," including PolitiFact, Snopes, and the Fact Checker by the Washington Post.[22]
Media Bias Fact Check sources its information from the Anti-Defamation League and the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center in order to inaccurately label right-wing websites and organizations as "questionable" sources according to Robert Spencer, who wrote to Media Bias/Fact Check's editor describing the attacks on his website, Jihad Watch, as "pure libel," afterward claiming he received no response from the editor.[23]
    https://conservapedia.com/Media_Bias_Fact_Check

Perhaps the most jarring instance of these scams is a site called “Media Bias Fact Check” which turns out to be just one guy making up whatever he feels like about news outlets, based on what he admits is his personal opinion, while typically providing no evidence – and then altering the ratings of news outlets who point out his scam.
    https://www.palmerreport.com/politics/palmer-report-exclusive-media-bias-fact-check/2115/

Overall, such fallacious attacks on outsider-opinion represent an effort to strangle social discourse from the top down. In this writer’s opinion, sites like Media Bias Fact Check constitute a desperate retaliatory measure in the wake of the legacy media’s loss of collective attention, and seek to reinforce narrative control in the hands of organizations like the Atlantic Council while smearing reliable sources of scientific journalism like WikiLeaks.
    https://www.investmentwatchblog.com...ikileaks-supports-western-propaganda-machine/

If Media Bias Fact Check were to be given a rating, they would be “Left” with “Mixed” honesty. Interestingly enough, they don’t rate themselves. Not that it matters, they’d certainly put themselves squarely in the middle as “Least Biased” with “High” ratings for honesty, neither of which are even remotely true

That article asserts that the website is based in Langley but doesn't even try to support that assertion with any evidence.

The domain is hosted on a US-based provider (though that isn't unusual in itself, as that is where many of the big providers are based) and the registration is formally declared from Thailand (though that doesn't necessarily relate to any physical location). Any other information is hidden (which isn't uncommon for security reasons).

I'm not sure how exactly they're tracing the website to Langley specifically and even if the servers were physically located there, that in itself wouldn't prove anything. After all, if he CIA were really secretly behind the website, do you really think they'd choose to host it next door to their own headquarters (or set it up in a way in which it could be traced back there at least)?

The entire claim is unsupported, speculative at best and ultimately makes no sense either way. It got you to click though, and triggered some more negativity towards both the CIA and Ukrainians while presenting supporters of Russia as victims. You'd think that if this was propaganda from anyone, it would logically be the Russians.

If you're looking for persons who have been brainwashed, have a look in the mirror.

As Mike Pompeo said describing how the CIA operates, "We lie, we cheat, we steal". I didn't need Daddy Mike to tell me that, as I discovered in 1970 that his illustrious agency was in the dope business.

Edward Snowden revealed NSA cheats years ago. Those asleep at the wheel fail to perceive how they are deceived.

Joe Biden asserts he has the best interests of US citizens at heart, but by his actions proves the exact opposite.

The federal government has been in the propaganda business AT LEAST since Woodrow Wilson hired Edward Bernays to manipulate the public perception. Are you suggesting the government is honest with its people?

    Propaganda Alert!

This is what the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation says about your source:

"The platform, Global Research, features a Canadian domain name and offers an ever-expanding collection of conspiracy theories, such as the myth that the 9/11 attacks and COVID-19 pandemic were both planned in order to control the population. The website also hosts articles experts have attributed to a Russian spy agency."

In this time of universal deception, news outlets like Global Research that publish the truth are described by shills as being Russian propagandists.

The other side of the coin is that those who routinely and steadily deceive the public are portrayed as sources of truth.

    Ignorance is bliss.

I'm not claiming that the CIA or any other agency are filled with angels. I'm simply pointing out that the facts in this case will not be found from such a batshit crazy source.

Not at all. I'm saying that the article you linked made a significant assertion without trying to provide any evidence, checking publicly available information doesn't appear to support it and it doesn't really make sense. Given the obvious bias of the source, isn't it natural to ask whether the assertion is actually true?

Have you and Honest Joe considered that you both might be very short in the facts department?

My position has long been that it is very foolish to believe the claims and statements of individuals and agencies well known for dishonesty. I spent just enough time in the Army to understand how it and the rest of the government work. They lie, cheat and steal. I already knew that, but Pompeo put it very well.

Why should I believe a word men who lie, cheat and steal speak? Why do you?

We're all very short in the facts department on this specific question but that is because your source made an assertion without even trying to provide any facts to back it up. I can't speak for anyone else but I'm not making any definitive assertions either way on this question, I just provided as much factual information as I could easily find (though that was already more than your article did) and applied a little basic logic. None of that invalidates the accusation but none of it supports the accusation either. So again, why do you object to anyone questioning whether the claim is true or not (exactly what your title implied with the question mark but your actual post didn't)?

I agree, but that is irrelevant here, because nobody from the CIA has been quoted making any claims or statements about this topic. The only people making claims and statements are those who wrote your OP article, and I'm not sure it would be any less foolish to automatically believe what they say when they present literally zero evidence.
