Ever notice how those who demand perfection in others are unwilling to demand it of themselves?

???? these days and with the biases and fake truths that are the norm, such questions need to be asked. Morals, ethics, principles and humanity were what our country was lauded for over 200 years and now those are no longer important to a large (over 60%) amount of Americans. We need to ask who still believe they are the basics of what made our country great.

Really?? Why do you think such questions should be asked of me?

Wow, you must be looking in the mirror with this statement. I clearly depicts what you do. You believe what you believe without checking the validity of it by doing research. I am the total opposite.

How come you continue to stay (here, in this conversation between you and I)? Your presence is not valued. Do I have to get up and close the door on you (instead of you being a respectful person simply leaving by your own hands)?

Because it was you that stated that I was making things up. As such, it is normal to address the person that is disputing a fact.

You are again making stuff up. You asked the questions before I said you were making stuff up.

Yes, and this revolutionary new interpretation about presidential power to declassify-by-thought is a product from the same imaginative mind that informed us in 2016 that Mexico was going to pay for 'the wall"....

Once again, this whole thing is going to end up at the Supreme Court... and the issue won't be settled until it does.

“Experts agreed that the president, as commander-in-chief, is ultimately responsible for classification and declassification. …

The majority ruling in the 1988 Supreme Court case Department of Navy vs. Egan -- which addressed the legal recourse of a Navy employee who had been denied a security clearance -- addresses this line of authority.

"The President, after all, is the ‘Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States’" according to Article II of the Constitution, the court’s majority wrote. "His authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security ... flows primarily from this constitutional investment of power in the President, and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant."

Steven Aftergood, director of the Federation of American Scientists Project on Government Secrecy, … such authority gives the president the authority to "classify and declassify at will."

In fact, Robert F. Turner, associate director of the University of Virginia's Center for National Security Law, said that "if Congress were to enact a statute seeking to limit the president’s authority to classify or declassify national security information, or to prohibit him from sharing certain kinds of information with Russia, it would raise serious separation of powers constitutional issues."

The official documents governing classification and declassification stem from executive orders. But even these executive orders aren’t necessarily binding on the president. The president is not "obliged to follow any procedures other than those that he himself has prescribed," Aftergood said. "And he can change those."

POLITIFACT, "The minute the president speaks about it to someone, he has the ability to declassify anything at any time without any process.”, By Louis Jacobson, May 15, 2017.

When PolitiFact/Poynter agree with James Risch you should know that the DOJ/FBI has no case against Trump.

I think you need to go back and review the thread of our conversations. You are wrong. By the way, I am open to be proven wrong. Prove it (don't just use words to say otherwise).

The nonsense coming out of Trump's opposition is his most valuable political asset.
I am sure he is very grateful. :)

"Without nonsense, sense would not be 'measured,' sense would itself threaten infinity and regression." Susan Stewart, NONSENSE, Aspects of Intertextuality In Folklore and Literature, Johns Hopkins Univ. Press Baltimore 1989, p 4.

He has already responded. Some folks fool themselves into believing he has not. That's what partisan politics does.

My service is open to the public. I have absolutely nothing to hide. If someone has bad intentions, ways can always be found to do damage (hiding is not something I have ever done in my life). Life is like that. I choose to be honest and open and am willing to suffer any consequences that may come of it, given that standing up for what I believe is important to me.

Oh and by the way. I do not "fancy myself that I know everything about finances". Nonetheless, of the things I do know, I know.
