In my opinion, there is close similarity between the hard extreme right of the USA....the rabid Make America Great Again etc call to nationalism and the rise of Nazi Germany. As I said, those in the USA may be so close to the coal face they cannot see it, just like as happened in Germany in the 30's and 40's. That's not what he said at all. In fact, what he actually said was that Trump ISN'T Hitler, and he listed why the two people are different. Don't let your need to spin things affect your reading comprehension, especially when what you're responding to is right there for everyone else to read.

 

I'm not even sure that's a good comparison. For better or worse, Jim Jones actually believed in something, however crazy it was. Donald Trump doesn't believe in anything. He's an empty vessel who only knows how to sate his most basic needs and selfish desires. He has no morals, no ethics, and no hangups. He's about as morally relativistic as they come, elected by a party and an ideology that in my personal experience(so not a blanket statement) has claimed the existence of absolute morality more than any other demographic.

I'm aware of the existence of Nazis, but comparing non Nazis to them is classic Godwin's Law. It's used only to denigrate someone who you don't agree with in order to demonize that person (Trump) and his supporters. Hillary is very adept at demonizing people. Perhaps she started her training with the women Bill sexually abused by attacking them, instead of her political partner.
