"You get a real 'a-ha' moment when you see that the White House switchboard had connected to a rioter's phone while it's happening," Riggleman told 60 Minutes correspondent Bill Whitaker. "That's a big, pretty big 'a-ha' moment." Riggleman, an ex-military intelligence officer and former Republican congressman from Virginia, oversaw a data-driven operation for the January 6 committee, pursuing phone records and other digital clues tied to the attack on the Capitol. He stopped working for the committee in April.
So the guy is selling a book and needs a hook. Well, we know Trump didn’t make the call because at the time he had successfully muscled his way past two armed and highly trained secret service agents and tried to steer a car from the back seat even though it would have been impossible for him to hit the gas. So the biggest investigation in FBI history turns up a phone call to somebody who did something and this is just coming out now? Who was the person who got the call? I’m sure the FBI would have sent fifty armed agents to arrest him like they did with Stone.
