1) The feds do not have a police power, and policing simple assaults is that. This is an unconstitutional expansion of government power.
2) The 'victim' couldn't even win a ****ing civil suit and the locals declined to prosecute. He's not a victim, at minimum it was mutual combat and at most he was shoved after aggressing against a child causing that child's parent to have the reasonable fear of an imminent harmful or offensive contact with his child's person.
3) There is no evidence the man was shoved for any reason but getting up in a 12 year old boys face and screaming obscenities. Certainly there is no evidence he was targeted because he was a health care provider, which he is not.


Meaning he didn't the crime.

 

This is a claim you have made. Please back up the idea that he was persecuting anyone. Show us a witness claiming he, for instance, screamed obscenities and rapidly advanced into people's personal space such to put a reasonable person in the apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact with their person.

 

How does that justify a raid?

 

ONE exposure would suffice for that. Or leave the kid in the car where the poor child is not in direct line of fire. There is NO excuse for what he did

 

Was that the reason for the “raid” a descriptor, given the source, that is much in contention

 

Where is your proof that anyone did that to him? This is a real “he said she said” situation and all that is truly known is a claim he injured someone

The spokesman said the complaint was dismissed in July after the escort repeatedly failed to appear in court.

Philadelphia Municipal Court records show a man with the initial “B.L.” filed a private criminal complaint against Houck in October 2021 and the complaint is listed as disposed. The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office confirmed Monday that the office did approve a private criminal complaint against Houck earlier this year.

"But the case was disposed of locally so the DOJ could assume and lead the investigation," DA spokeswoman Jane Roh said. "It is incorrect to say that we declined this case."

The Houck spokesman reportedly said that after the private complaint was disposed, the U.S. The Attorney's Office notified Houck in writing that he was the focus of a federal criminal probe into the same incident.
