Here we have a group of heavily armed militant nationalists or supremacists (take your pick) holding a Second Amendment Unity Walk in Austin and demanding the border be closed and for illegals to go home because they steal jobs from these heavily armed militants.

These are EXACTLY the kind of armed supremacists/nationalists Biden has been yapping about and Garland can't seem to find, yet here they are walking down the street with nary a concern from them or the leftist media. Had this been MAGA the news would have been wall to wall, Biden and Harris would have already made Hitleresque speeches, and Garland would have re-tasked the FBI to investigate these people rather than prevent Russian and Chinese espionage and sabotage.

So what do we have here? We have:

Pro 2A and guns
Close the borders
Illegals go home
Openly saying they'll shoot people rather than raise their hands

These are all the things the left are against, vehemently against. Oh, and they also want reparations now. What else is new?

This is Austin, the San Francisco of the south, it's far away from me and I don't really care what happens in that city. But I am curious about what the left might think of this event and can't wait to hear it.

Well...IMO They're quite free to do what they are doing. So long as they don't instigate violence doesn't matter to me what they say.

Although, if they want reparations then they should trace the supply route to the beginning and demand it from them, not stop half way through it.

I agree with you, but I would add that events like this should require a permit so people can be told in advance when streets will be shut down and the required number of police can be assigned to the event as to maintain order.

The part I don't like, bold and underlined, is that they are willing to commit to violence to prove a point. As MLK said, "Hate begets hate; violence begets violence...." And such statements where they will shoot anyone rather than raise their hands is a terroristic threat and should be treated as such similar to AQ or ISIS or any other terroristic group. Any supporter of them should also be lumped in as an advocate and supporter of a terrorist group with no mercy and a quarter being given. The first three points I have no problems because that is exercising their 1st amendment rights. But once you start threatening violence, that right goes away, period.

Because you support all of that and not condone them, you are no better than the wife of an AQ or ISIS member.

 

What they said was perfectly legal and is protected by the 1st Amendment. If a cop says that he will shoot anyone with a gun pointed at him, that is a threat. A reasonable threat, but a threat none the less. These guys did not state that they would go out and shoot people. They said that they would rather shoot people than raise their hands. It goes along the axiom of "I'll give you my gun when you pry (or take) it from my cold, dead hands". Its not about hate. Its about defense of ones self. Its not a terroristic threat, its a warning at most, simple statement of fact at the least.

I am always happy to see blacks and other minorities supporting and demonstrating their second ammendment rights. A little research will demonstrate that gun control has always been about disarming black people.

Virginia Slave Code of 1680: “It shall not be lawfull [sic] for any negroe [sic] or other slave to carry or arme [sic] himselfe [sic] with any club, staffe [sic], gunn [sic], sword or any other weapon of defence [sic] or offence [sic]”.

Free people are allowed to own guns. Slaves are not. And by slaves I include the modern day white liberals who celebrate not being allowed to own a gun.

Folks, forget the identities of the Second Amendment Unity Walk marchers. They have guns, they say they won’t back down without a fight, they want a secure border and the illegals to go home. On any other day of the week the left would be screaming about racism, xenophobia, threats to democracy, nationalism, supremacists, most lethal threat to the country. Where is the media, the panel shows on CNN, Joy Reid, Garland, Jorge Ramos, the FBI and Biden?

After bitching about all the above things for years, now that it’s in plain sight no one wants to say anything, the left isn’t even saying But That’s Different. Did I miss something?

 

Guess you totally missed the point about how being armed caused these people to be treated with more respect. Being unarmed, weak, and defenseless is what promotes being a victim of violence. People that exercise their Constitutional rights are not AQ or ISIS. Rather, the people that want to revoke the rights provided by the American Constitutions are like AQ or ISIS.

 

I don't expect the government/media complex to provide a lot of coverage of blacks getting off the reservation. Don't think we will hear much on the subject from the Biden administration either.
