There is nothing wrong with being moderate. Without moderates in either party nothing would ever get passed! They also get crapped on by their own party members (IN BOTH PARTIES) and I think it takes guts to do anything moderate in today's hyperpartisan age

 

True. But there's nothing moderate about blocking the voting rights bill. Legislation, had it passed, that would have prevented much of the Repub inspired anti-democracy bills they have passed on the state level affecting elections.

 

Yup! A cheated presidential election leads to some ugly stuff. That doesn't make it right, but it sure makes me be "not surprised"

 

I listened to her reasoning and it would make sense if both sides played by agreed upon rules and worked across the aisle. That was the flaw in her ass kissing, Mitch is not trustworthy but expects the other side to be.

what nonsense are we talking about? The OP is very vague so I had to make assumptions to the nature of the OP and I assume he called her "republican" because she doesn't blindly follow everything the left does. Am I wrong? If i misinterpreted something, can you clear it up?

 

Yes. If by "control" you mean "doing absolutely nothing". If the Republican "plan" is to not do anything, no matter how urgent. If it's to pass no bills, not legislation, fix no problems.... Sinema will be and has been one of his closest allies.

 

Maybe they can try to submit a bill without all kinds of unnecessary add-ons for a change?

 

Cheated presidential election? You have no evidence. 60 something lawsuits. Giuliani admitted there was no fraud. Republican governors and secretaries of state - NO FRAUD.

So, if you know something none of them know, come forth and present it. This is getting sad.

That was very smart of him to fall inline. Sometimes, saving your own life is more important than integrity. I would have done the same thing if I were Rudy. He and his family are alive because of this.

Actually I liked this one ' Slick Willie' which was first coined on Clinton when he was a young Governor of Arkansas. Those who are called 'Slick Willies' are cunning and deceptive people who are superficially appealing and polished, but who are glib, and able to deftly execute convincing arguments that favors the con, and I don't deny it fit the worst of Clinton's style.

But it works better on a William. Now, imagine how it works at a dual level to describe a man who likes to parse out the meaning of words like 'it' and 'sexual relations' and then, without me having to spell it out, how it works the more you learn about his licentious and salacious sexual habits.

Its just perfect in so many ways.
