My question to those who think Russia did this... How does this benefit Russia in ANY capacity? Russia had leverage over Europe this winter with the pipeline and energy. Russia NEEDED the funds to support their war effort. The destruction will tank Russia's economy. Biden literally said if Russia invades, he will end Nord Stream. Again, why would Russia do Biden's bidding for him? Why would Russian intentionally tank their economy? Where the hell is any of the logic here?

 

An opposite view has been expressed that Putin himself had the pipeline sabotaged. That makes some sense as the stopping of the pipeline hurts Europe far more than any hurt (if even any) to Russia ....... which gives one an indication of what the hell Biden knows, or doesn't.

 

No, that make NO sense. Russia had absolute control of the flow of energy. He had leverage over Europe because of that. Blowing up the pipeline removes any leverage Putin might have had and destroys a MASSIVE economic source for Russia. Putin blowing up the pipeline is no different than cutting your nose off to spite your face.

The Ruble was actually outperforming all western currencies. This will tank the Ruble.. Again, you think this makes sense?? It makes sense only that Western powers did this to implode the Russian economy.

Why would anyone want to sabotage the pipeline? Someday, after the conflict in Ukraine is ended, it still could be of enormous benefit to western Europeans and Russia alike... if the world doesn't become engulfed in a world war first....

After reading the thread, I know what he said.

I am simply putting forth my opinion that despite his prior words and whatever perception that may come from his words, deep down, I do not think he has the moxie for such a move. I am not taking up for the man. I think that he is wholly incompetent.

 

Tucker Carlson is a blind partisan hater.
Damaging the DP and Biden have been his highest priority since the attacks on his family and home. So, yes, IMO he is acting as a Russian asset and undermining his credibility with every one of his absurd attacks on Ukraine and Zelensky.

Human beings are routinely incompetent. It would be hard to prove that Biden has been more incompetent than other political leaders, and Biden's many decades of experience in high office have crafted remarkably tough, blunt, ruthless, and often very effective politician.
IMO, Biden has served the interests of the USA and its allies very well during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in spite of foot dragging by his staff and the permanent bureaucracy.
