Naples. There’s a shark swimming in a neighborhood in the area. The video is only on Twitter. No way to share.

Public service announcement. No swimming in your flooded house. It’s chemical soup, downed power lines, snakes, gators…

Not to mention wading through flood water is full of bacteria because of septic tank overflow.

If you must do it make sure you have no open sores and it might not be a bad idea to wash down exposed skin with some strong rubbing alcohol before showering.

I meant to turn the breakers off at my trailer and the landlord's trailer but I did not do it so it's just going to have to be how it is .

No way in hell am I going anywhere until this is over.

Exactly. I tried to post a pic of the idiot swimming in his house, but it won’t work.

I didn't swim in any house but I must confess that me and my friends rode dirt bikes and four wheelers and swamp buggies and other conveyances through it.

The Peace River crested at almost 15 ft a couple of weeks ago and it's only gone down to about 12 ft and minor flood stage is 11 ft.

Hurricane Irma had the river at 19 and a half foot. I believe we'll see about 3 ft more than that

That seems far less dangerous. As kids, we swam in flood water once. Then mom and dad showed us the crap in the water. LOL.

Croc sandals are perfect for it. They may leave a little bit lacking in there total foot protection department. .. I just got to watch your step and I'm not trying to get over my knees

This part of the state was lucky we didn’t experience any of the storm.

I'm seeing some strange red lights out front but I can't get out to see it. Who the hell is out in this? I'm barricaded in the back room and I have more than adequate self protection ability if someone should come and point a gun at me or something.

I don't care about things that can be replaced but no one better not corner me.

Asides from my battery operated lights, it's basically pitch Black..... Won't lie, some spooky stuff being here alone

I’m just fine. We had a bunch of rain. We got nothing compared to what’s going on over on the west coast. A lot of those people are now homeless. The carnage is going to be hard to see tomorrow mo4ning. It breaks my heart.

We have already budgeted a few hundred to buy supplies when they start collecting. They are going to need food, water, clothes, bedding..
    Everything.

    Horrifying.

I believe that we have seen 140 mph gust here. We have a big awning over one of the gas pump islands and I believe I heard that blow over and down the road.

Sounded like a train wreck. I believe the worst of it is over here now but we're still going to have hurricane force winds for another hour or so. The eye ended up passing very close to us but it didn't go over us like they said it would

    So glad you stayed safe.

My nephew left Tampa to go to Orlando. He should have stayed home. Orlando will be a hot mess in a few hours.

That's the same exact thing that people did during hurricane Charley.... Ran to Orlando and got right in the path of it

I was living in Jacksonville at the time and had a friend come with her two girls. That was a mistake.
