Actually, some by natural causes, others by suicide but it's been clear that none of them were directly or indirectly murdered. Hence why even the DOJ isn't positioning that argument, any more than Trump has done with 'executive privilege' as it relates to his case. The argument lacks merit, therefore it lacks standing.

What happened on 1/6 was an unlawful riot. Some there may have had delusions of grandeur(the Oath Keepers namely) but the vast majority were a hapless mob, frenzied by the energy of the moment. We need to have these cases to hurry up and reach a resolution as we still have over 600 defendants to largely be sentenced for the same misdemeanors and there's already a base line. Hell, for several scores of these defendants, time already served will play a factor.

There was some violence there on the house side of the Capitol. The senate side(where they were letting people in and even seemingly giving tours) not so much.

 

The Capitol was closed to the public that day. If anyone was "giving tours," it was illegal.

The entire world saw a mob of 1000's of people attacking cops who tried their best to stop them invading the Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the government.

I don't like nazis, I mean democrat Politicians. I think that they're evil.

 

We went from the Great depression to War 2, American's loved FDR, he stayed and served to get U.S. through very difficult times; it probably cost him his life. He and his wife worked harder for common AmeriCANs than any other President in our history. I don't think he would want to be "idealized", but he was a beacon of compassionate government all Presidents should try to emulate.
