What'd he call him? DeSanctimonious? Today, he's being going after Mitch McConnell's wife by calling her Coco Chow.

Yeah. He didn’t campaign with him when he went touring Florida with Rubio. He know DeSantis is quickly becoming a rising star with GOP. Whether he has center appeal, we shall see. I saw hints of that in his first year as gov, but he’s mostly been about owning the libs since then.

I wish one team would start acting like adults in the room. This gotcha politics style of governing doesn’t work for me.

Family should be off limits. I don't like Mitch, but his wife is not a Senator. Having said that, if it came down to it I would still vote for Trump over Biden. But he won't have my support in the primaries. I'm just hoping he puts his ambition to rest. He's losing support the more he opens his mouth attacking his perceived enemies in his own Party.

Not a lot of non incumbents supported by Trump, won. A whole lot of his support went to people needing no support. You can’t count those as influence. Laura Ingram told him to shut up forever.

First of all, I'm not a "you guys". Secondly, and more to the point, look it up because I sure as hell don't care.

Yes he does, but the RNC has stated that they will no longer fund his legal battles if he runs, which means more schemes to fleece money from his supporters. He has very few billionaire donors. Most of the other GOP billionaire donors will go to someone else, namely DeSantis. And I think DeSantis has the backing of some dozen or so mega billionaire donors who are more then willing to foot the bill for DeSantis to win the nomination. So the question is, who else will run? Cruz? Haley? Noem?

I think when DeSantis runs, he will go after Trump, but he will do it in a way that shows he is not a good candidate or president. He will criticize Trump for closing the country to begin with when Covid hit and will show Trump's Duma Agreement as a mistake by Trump. But he will go after him.

Trump said on Tuesday he will make an announcement, presumably on his 2024 candidacy. DeSantis will do it in January, maybe December after the Warnock/Walker race. But as I said, it is not who initiates it first, it is who will have the better platform for the rest of the GOP to decide on.

    It sure will be interesting.

    Pompeo, Pence,Cheney, Don Jr. ?
Gabbard most likely vying for a VP slot.,,again (Bernie)
Owens said she's considering running for president in 2024... the bar is so low for Republican endorsements for the most powerful global position.

As long as there's NO Biden in 2024

There is no doubt that Trump's bombastic mouth can get him in trouble.

But I'm wondering if you have any problem with the current president belittling and insulting half of the voting population because they have different ideas than him.

Nope, not really. They deny it now, but in the polar opposite world, where they are on the other side, they will have an issue and you will not.

This supports one of two conclusions: either Candace Owens is dumb as a box of rocks or she is one more right wing grifter looking to move to the next town, so to speak.

While I have never heard her say anything very intelligent that didn't sound like someone else wrote it, she is smart enough to make a living out of white conservatives. Clearly she thinks the way to keep the grift running is not with Trump.

They’re not turning on trump, they’re trying to save their own skins.
They are hypocrites of the first order.

I’m happy when anyone turns on Trump. The point of this post is to point out that the behavior that Owens points out as a “dealbreaker” has been on display since Trump announced his candidacy and she was fine with it. It was only until he turned on her did it cross a line for her.

Do it to others? That’s OK. Do it to me? That’s not OK.

Really? You’re going to slam McConnell for not spending enough?
    His PACs spent $178 million.
    https://idahocapitalsun.com/2022/11...ecord-advertising-cash-into-u-s-senate-races/

Trump’s PAC spent only $16 million. He has a huge war chest and he didn’t make a dent in it. He is keeping it for himself.

McConnell tried to win the Senate by spending money. Trump thought his endorsement would be enough and kept his pot of money for himself. But keep your blinders on.

The devil is in the details.
He funded his loyalists in safe seats, and shorted the up and comers - AKA reformers, AKA Trump approved - who wanted McConnel out, too.
Between Pelosi, Schummer, McCarthy, and McConnel, government reform is dead.

The one who really didn’t support the candidates financially was trump. He picked them then kept his ear chest mostly closed. If you want to blame R losses on a lack of spending, look to DJT.
