So now the democrats are attacking Musk for wanting to end “thought censorship” of those who’s content they disagree with.
This group is not like the blabber mouths on social media, this is an attack on a major platform financed by democrat activists. Their mission is to intimidate the companies who advertise on Twitter.

Legal, but a poor example of where the democrats want to take us.

Politicians are being slimy within the law? Tell us the other ways the two parties are the same.

Wouldn’t you feel personally diminished if “a higher authority” told you, “You cannot read or write those things”.
Censorship is an attack on your freedom of speech, too. .

If they spent any money trying to tank twitter it was a terrible waste of money.

Elon doesn't need any help with that.

There. I censured you. How’s that feel?
Google and the rest have the option of doing just that because all of our civilian communications come through private systems.

If I'm too censored here, I've plenty of other options. It's a pretty easy concept. McDonalds refuses to make you a pizza? Go somewhere that does.

You have a right to free speech, not pizza… although I would consider including it if I were a FF.

Nobody owes you a platform for your speech. You can’t put a sign with your speech on my lawn.

If you don't like how this private company is run, start your own.

    Oh wait.

So are these people have a platform and Democrats don't like it so they're going to go after their advertisers? Does that sound about right because that's what it is.

It's a free market, if anybody wants to convince advertisers to dump Twitter, they are free to do so. Do you have a problem with the free market?

BTW: The Twitter/Musk implosion continues. Soon, he won't have any people left to run the place. Arrogance always comes before the fall, and this whole Twitter debacle just reeks of Musk's arrogance, thinking that he is bigger/better than everything else.

Personally, I think he is tanking it to justify raiding it to recoup a portion of his losses.

Oh b*******... It's an attempt at economic blackmail. But of course you would have no problem with it since it's your side doing it.

Free market in action. I supported Twitter running itself anyway it wanted. I supported Musk’s right to buy it and completely change the rules, and I support people using the free markets to have their voice heard.

You don’t think people should have the right to contact advertisers to express pleasure/displeasure in who advertiser is sponsoring?

German Public TV Compares Elon Musk To Goebbels
    [IMG]

Clearly not a Liberal society. They compare Free People with Free Speech to “letting rats out of their holes.”

'The network’s name Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen literally means “Second German Television.”

The small group wants to rule the large group by force.
The small group wants to control the large group's speech, resources and ability to speak in the public square.
The small group fears the battle of ideas because they know that they are illegitimate, so they try to control the flow of thoughts and ideas.
They might as well try to cage the song of a bird.
