Happy Thanksgiving from the 2A and The NRA...
    Here we go again...
    Thoughts and Prayers...
There was a shooting inside a Chesapeake Walmart on Tuesday night, involving multiple fatalities and injuries, according to a spokesperson with the Chesapeake Police Dept.
It happened inside the Walmart on Battlefield Boulevard.
The spokesperson said it was a single shooter, and the department believes the shooter is dead.

this is typical psychobabble from the anti gun left. the chances of this being an NRA member is approaching zero. People like you continually prove you hate the NRA voting bloc far more than violent criminals. You don't even know the facts before you start spewing slander at the NRA. I wonder if it was a gun free zone?

actually the democrat politicians passed lots of stupid gun control laws that only harassed honest people. I get the fact that you hate the fact that us gun owners vote against socialists, collectivists and democrats who push laws designed to make working conditions safer for violent criminals while pretending that harassing honest gun owners will deter crime. I have found that many anti gun extremists see gun owners as their "enemy" because the politicians gun owners support are often hostile to things like union corruption, abortion on demand, boys competing as girls and other "woke" causes

Then the murderer won't be murdering anyone again.

Can you please tell us what the problem is?

For this to be a political issue, you have to make an assumption, and that assumption is that if this perpetrator did not have a gun, he would not have chosen to commit murder; or he would only have murdered one person and then police would have immediately apprehended him before he could commit the same crime again.

I'm just saying, statistically, gun control (even if it worked 100% at removing access to guns) would not reduce the death count coming from these sort of incidents as much as you think.

Hopefully that isn't too "complicated" for anyone here to understand.

The shooter is totally innocent, just like the shooters in Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, St Louis, New Orleans and Oakland.

The guns did it, they aimed themselves and pulled their own triggers.

I don't think you understand the difference between good gun shooting at people and bad gun shooting at people.

(Not that I would personally trust you to know the difference)

The Left likes to name every shooting of a gun at a person as "violence".
Okay then, where's the complaint about the police shooting the perpetrator?
How about instead of talking about "shooting" and "killing", we use the word "murder" to refer to this?
I know, I know... that might require a moral/ethical distinction. Something many people are not able to do these days.

You showed a picture of the governor hunting, and then are trying to connect that to this multiple murder attempt in this story.

This is Virginia, for goodness sakes. Hunting is as American as apple pie there.
(well, maybe not in the sprawling suburbs spilling out of D.C. over and across the border into Northern Virginia)

IF McAuliffe had been elected Governor (last year)
Then This Shooting WOULDN'T Have Happened...
    ^Prove Me Wrong!
BUT, Instead of McAuliffe, The Voters of VA Elected a Crazed Gun Freak...
Also, a Lt. Gov. Who is a Crazed Gun Freak...

Seems like many on the Left are not keen on the concept of accepting personal responsibility for your actions. So instead they lay the blame on inanimate objects for what people do with them.

Had the perpetrator survived, there would be many screaming against him getting the death penalty, or complaining that a sentence of life in prison is too harsh and he should be let out after being "rehabilitated".

If the people in Virginia don't like Virginia's gun laws, then they should have never moved to Virginia from D.C.

This is another example of progressives moving out of one area due to high costs of living, to greener pastures somewhere else, and then trying to "terraform" their new home, to make it more like the place that they left.

I can only imagine how bad the carnage would have been if social workers responded to the shooting instead of cops.

I did not know the NRA and 2nd Amendment was going around shooting people.....

How can you blame the NRA for things like this? How about blaming the shooter?

How about blaming your antiquated constitution.
How about blaming your inadequate healthcare system..
How about blaming your corrupt lobbying where politicians can be bought and sold by people like the NRA or the fossil fuel industry.
How about blaming your nut job evangelical controlled supreme court.
You are nearly 250 Years old now it's time to grow up.

I would except I doubt any of them were involved in the shooting.

Things have been working pretty well for those 250 years. I would rather have the Constitution than live in a shithole.

I've got bad news for you.
An unacceptable number of your population already live in a shithole.
Not only that you live in the only developed nation on earth where people are scared to send their children to school or go shopping or attend a country music festival.
