Rising star Chris Mowrey destroyed rightwing commentator Jesse Watters this week after Watters feared that young Americans (Gen Z) may be brainwashed by liberal content..........Mowrey says that white conservatives are destroying America's future.....

Sounds like the young kid is losing it to me. :shrug: At best he just proves Watters point. All he did was spew talking points. And I doubt some little kid actually came up to him and said he was afraid to go to school because "he doesn't want to die".

 

Mowrey is passionate. He is seen as the future of the country. He's always like that.

 

Well, firstly, why would I care what anyone on TikTok has to say?

Secondly, I think a refusal of either side to respect the other side's sacred cows is behind it. Especially this move toward doing everything as a one-size-fits-all policy at the Federal level, something that was never intended and vehemently opposed by most of the founders, for precisely this reason.

America is meant to be a collection of laboratories of democracy. You are meant to have distinct policy, to represent your local community first, to try new ideas and maybe adopt some tried by your neighbours.

The loss of that characteristic of American republicanism is behind almost all of your problems.

 

You say that about every nobody you post about. But the only time anyone has ever heard of them is when you post about them here.

Every fart in the wind these days gets somebody's attention- and some will do anything for attention.
Mowrey is basically saying orderly thought is attacking chaotic thought, and that is destructive. Normalize chaos is becoming a cause.
A lot of young people still have brain processes that resemble a ping-pong ball in a paint shaker. Before the internet, they grew out of it. Giving them attention makes them think it's normal.....
