Whether you trust them is 100% irrelevant. There is no alternative. That logic based on whether one 'trusts' is tantamount to anarchy, i.e. we can all decide to opt out of any investigation by just stating "Stop these nasty people, I don't trust them."

Problem is...every Court so far has acted on the basis that the Warrant was lawfully issued and lawfully executed. Not even Humpty asserted otherwise.

The Appeals Court was at pains to make the point....no-one, not even a former POTUS is above the law before which we are to be all equal. Yes, the Appeals Court said it was extraordinary (or similar word) but not relevant that the warrant involved a former POTUS, just as it would not be relevant of the warrant involved the garbage collector's housekeeping person.
