Did Wilson and Roosevelt "terminate" the Constitution? Yes.

I get it, but you're splitting hairs. Trump is advocating in his own words for the overthrow of portions of the document. Yes it's disingenuous to say that he wants to cancel the whole thing, but even just wanting to cancel parts of it should be shocking enough. And if he's in favor of cancelling parts of the document when it suits him for this particular goal, it's not a stretch to imagine he'd be in favor of cancelling other parts when they present obstacles to his desires.

Except for the 5th amendment. He'll probably want to keep that one.

Oh boy, the mental gymnastics you have to go through to polish this latest one of Trump's many turds are amazing. I think in 10 years you may look back at this time and tell yourself: How was it possible that I supported this guy with that much passion?

Are you really this upset that I showed an analogy to be inaccurate? It's not my fault that you guys don't put more thought into how you make an argument. The logic I see coming from some on the left is just plain juvenile.

There are some serious textbook examples of delusional thinking in this thread.
I am completely convinced that Trump supporters lack critical thinking skills that would normally allow them to see things for what they really are in exchange for a world of self delusion designed solely to support the idea that Trump is great.
It truly is amazing to me.
    And a little depressing.

Read more carefully. Virtually everyone knows that MSM = Fake News. Especially those who pretend not to know. ;-)

    There are countless examples.

“Sally Buzbee, the executive editor for the Washington Post, revealed the newspaper was unable to stand by the accuracy of their reporting regarding source Sergei Millian — former president of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce — noting the recent indictment filed by Special Counsel John Durham this month.

“The original version of this article published on March 29, 2017, said that Sergei Millian was a source for parts of a dossier of unverified allegations against Donald Trump. That account has been contradicted by allegations contained in a federal indictment filed in November 2021 and undermined by further reporting by The Washington Post. As a result, portions of the story and an accompanying video have been removed and the headline has been changed,” the editor’s note in the 2017 article read.”

Well if the news/stuck to the facts and didn't grossly exaggerate the statement being made, you would probably see more condemnation of the post.

The headline is meant to sensationalize some, but the wording of Trump's statement is all on him.
Is it that too many people just read the headline and don't bother to read the contents of the story?
I know what you're saying, but it doesn't take much skill to read the story and extract what is fact and what is hype, in this case, the actual words Trump put in his statement.
Maybe people have a hard time separating the hyperbole from the hard facts? Or maybe they don't want to believe Trump would say such a thing?
To me, this is the exact reason why I'll never support Trump, and I won't vote for anyone that espouses Trump's delusional view of America.
I'm kind of attached to this "reality" thing.
