After all, he gives out nick names, and he wants to terminate the constitution, so I'm thinking 'Trumpinator'.

But, the more important issue, Republicans are supposed to be the Constitution Party, and now that Trump wants to terminate it, well, he's a RINO.

    Right?

Whatever he is, Trump fans have to swallow the bitter pill that their guy is anti-American, because if you want to terminate the constitution, you want to terminate America, and that isn't gonna fly with any rational person who loves America.

    Anyone disagree?

I mean, if you don't think it's a big deal for a former President of the United States to overtly express a desire to end the constitution, you need to reassess what it means to be a citizen of a country whose one uniting bond is it's constitution.

Oh, it's no big deal you say? He was just being flippant you say? Wasn't he the guy who whipped up a mob to attack the capitol? Wasn't he the guy who asked his general if it was okay for the military to shoot at protestors? Wasn't he the guy who wanted an expensive military red square-esque tank and missile parade? Wasn't this the guy who praised Putin and took his word over that of his intel staff? Wasn't he the the guy who invited
Kanye "I love Hitler" West to dinner with his white supremacist pal, Nick Fuentes, not to mention there are 'good people on both sides'?

Wasn't he the guy conspired with hundreds of republicans to put forward a scheme involving fake electors, pressuring state officials to decertify their elections, to install Trump's 'electors', (who were illegal by that time), wasn't this the guy who pressured his vice president to unilaterally remand contested votes back to the states with the ultimate purpose delaying the Joint Session long enough past the deadline and thus triggering a contested election in order to throw the vote to the house where he would surely be reelected in an illegal coup attempt to deny Biden his rightful win, all because he failed to listen to his staff that gave him good advice, and listened to outsiders who were giving him bad advice, just the advice he wanted to hear, And now he wants to terminate the constitution, and you don't see a pattern here? This is not a big deal, you say?

Excuse me, this is a big deal, this is major humongous giganticus big honking deal the likes of which we've never heard any President in history utter from his contemptuous lips.

This is the guy that Republicans elected in 2016, failed to convict in two impeachments, they are being forced to confront the monster they created.

    Thanks a lot, Republicans.

And he is a monster, on this, there is no doubt. Every time he hits a low, we think, OMG, he can't go any lower than this, and sure enough, a few weeks later, he goes even lower, then lower, then lower, and where's he gonna be two years now?

Well, with a little luck, in jail for the rest of his life, where he belongs.

    So, the question is this:

    Do you believe in Democracy?

Or do you believe in Donald Trump?

    It's one or the other.

Well, he beat Trump by 7 million votes, so, that doesn't say more for Trumpinator.

Not at all. Employment is 3.5%, wages up, gas is down, major legislation passed, we over performed according to expectations during the midterms, Repubs underperformed and all the while he had a poor rating. This tells me that....well......

    I wouldn't underestimate Joe Biden.

You can spin all you want. Polling shows people are not happy with the direction of the country.

And of course unemployment is down when people are getting crushed by inflation and needing all the work they can find. No, gas is not down, just because it's not as high as it was, it's still way up. Anybody can pass legislation, simply passing it isn't an accomplishment. Yes, democrats performed better in the midterms, that doesn't change that people are not happy with the country. It just means things haven't gotten so bad that they were willing to change their vote......but who's to say they won't?

And stop acting like Biden has anything to do with anything. They guy isn't making a single decision about anything and everybody knows it. If you're going to give credit, at least give credit to his handlers (not that we really know who they are, but they still deserve any credit/blame anybody wants to give).

Another day, another logical fallacy...[caveman voice] Orange man bad. I give HIM nickname! You call him traitor or YOU the traitor! ONLY choices!

    Ho-Hum. Lather, rinse, repeat.

What is the false dilemma fallacy?
A false dilemma is a fallacy that misrepresents an issue by presenting only two mutually exclusive options rather than the full, nuanced range of options. Here’s a basic example:

    • If we don’t order pizza for dinner, we’ll have to eat the week-old spaghetti in the fridge.
Obviously, you have more dinner options. You can whip up something with what’s in your cabinets, or you can go grocery shopping, or you can order something other than pizza. But the person arguing in favor of pizza here is presenting week-old spaghetti as the only other choice, making the pizza look like the only good option in comparison.

I see you can't actually respond to a post. Typical lefty.

Don't quote someone if you aren't going to respond to their post. That is a forum rule for a reason and it's also one that lefties violate regularly.

Also, when it comes to 'waddabout' the left has that on lockdown with their obsession with trump so your point here is incredibly hypocritical. Also my posts were in direct response to the person I quoted and were in no way whataboutisms.

But you keep spinning your lefty bullshit....I'm sure there's someone out there who cares.

Trump is history. Biden is current events. The left will do anything to avoid talking about the Dumbinator.

    I still prefer Donald C##t

Trump injects himself into the news especially with announcing his running for president yet somehow we’re supposed to buy that he’s “history”. Sorry, but Trump has made himself current events. Anyone denying that is a hyper-partisan sheep.

They simply can't help it, it's reflexive because they self identify unknowingly. Hence, the four letter "c" word that's not allowed on the forum in reference to said worshipers.

yeah, the pandemic mucked everything up, if forced both Trump administrations and Biden administrations to do stimulus packages, which contributed to inflation, the rest by supply chain issues, and the havoc was wreaked worldwide, not just in the USA, but leave it to republicans to continuously blast on TV and radio over and over and over and over again that it's all Biden's fault.

    It's going down.
The hell it isn't. It depends. For Republicans, a tax cut is a slam dunk. But infrastructure? That's a major piece of work.
In four years, Trump tried and failed. How about health care? No republican to date has passed a health care bill, but Obama did.

here you are revealing your total lack of knowledge on the subject. Legislation spends months in committee, sometimes several committees and subcommittees, then goes back and forth to the house and to the senate and back again and is finally joined as a single bill and then debated with amendments after amendments, lots of horse trading (or they used to) if and when they can agree on what goes in it, is it's very tough to even get it as far as the floor.

Major legislation is amended, debated, whipped, etc.,and is extremely difficult to get passed, .

You clearly do not know what you are talking about. Both the Infrastructure and IRA , Chips bill were major pieces of legislation.
It proves that Republicans blew it.
You have provided incontrovertible proof that you know squat.

He doesn't care what you call him; just keep calling. Politics is expensive, so he needs all the free labor he can get. Odd that you mentioned democracy and failed attempts to unseat a duly elected president in the same post. Do you really think people voted for him because of how wonderful he is? His support comes from the results your party is producing.

    Dems created this monster.
