I would not take it that far. If gay person comes in to buy a generic cake, you should be required to sell it to them. If a gay person asks you to decorate in a way the celebrates their life style, that is another matter. The same goes for renting hotel rooms to people of other races or serving them in a restaurant. That kind of discrimination is wrong.

The radical LGBQX people are degenerating into harassment. Now they are demanding satin worshiping cakes from this Christian baker. That’s a line too far.

And some would say that the extremists on your side are never satisfied. You guys double down on it by using the government’s police power to jam it down other people’s throats.

So how would you deal with an ER doctor refusing to treat a patient not of his own race, religion or sexual orientation ?
Or an oncologist refusing to treat a patient not of his own race, religion or sexual orientation ?
Or a plastic surgeon refusing to treat a patient not of his own race, religion or sexual orientation ?

Are we reverting to "don't ask, don't tell" ?

    This isn’t a baker.
No one has asked her to provide a service.

How is asking for equal treatment “jamming” anything down anyone’s throats?

I have no issue with the courts saying no one should have to create a specific message for any other group — the issue is this seems targeted at a single minority group while the group bringing the suit will retain their protections.

It is laughable to see the group that has the most protections in the US act like others having those protections is somehow unthinkable.

It's almost like this case has been in front of SCOTUS before, and from the same state.

The one’s always screaming they are under attack because people dare say happy holidays instead of merry Christmas. Or because Starbucks changed their cup design. Or because they cannot force prayer in school. Or put their slogans on license plates.

Asks the people that floated the idea for refusing medical care for the non-vaccinated.

They don't ask. They demand someone be forced to make their cake against their will.

    Hence, the issue.

Oh, ****, I owe some apologies. I just assumed she had actually been asked to provide such a service and had denied and was the defendant in this case. Still makes her an idiot, but I'd argue that was within her rights. But no one even asked her? That's all kinds of ****ed up.

So do you think Christian Conservatives are the most protected group in this country in your opinion?

I mean they are bigots — what do you expect?

No one asked her to do anything, this is a made up case to get it in front of an installed partisan court to get the ruling they want.

I have no opinion about who is the "most protected group," but the descriptions accurately characterize them and their previous behavior.

    people claiming supernatural belief
    Evangelicals

they advertised they were selling cakes, false advertisement to deny them the cake based on race or gender

they can always create a private members only club if that is what they want to do
