    I thought there would have been a thread about it already. Since there isn't, I am just opening one:

    Merry Christmas everyone.

    I am sitting in the quiet (and warmth) of the family room in front of the tree waiting for the kids to wake up so the gift-giving mayhem can start. We are blessed to have another Christmas season with everyone being healthy, having jobs, and not having to worry about how the Christmas meal will be paid for. Many others are not so lucky. They are in our thoughts.

    We are also thinking about those who don't have family and spend the Christmas day alone. One of our friends who is alone over the break will be joining us for dinner today.

    Merry Christmas. Quiet day here. The kids are coming tomorrow. Near record cold here, for Xmas day. I’m Ft Lauderdale.

    The windows are open. The house is 51. Our sweatpants are almost 25 years old. We love getting to wear them!

    We are sleeping under a heated blanket, though.

    It’s -6.8F degrees where I am. Not even near record cold. Our windows are closed. The sweatpants are old and comfortable as well. I don’t have a heated blanket but wish I did. Stay comfortable.

    Dude you really need to get over the fact that there are people that exist that have different political opinions than you....

    Merry Christmas to all even to those who say that they don't wish a Merry Christmas to those who have different political ideas...

    One day of the year and you can't even pull that off....

    Political differences cause wars. Political differences got 6 million Jews exterminated while an entire country lived in denial.

    Maga waged war on the rest of us. They have attacked the Capitol; they have tried and continue to try to subvert the democratic process. Trump and his MAGA followers waged war on the nation. Just the a couple of weeks ago trump called to suspend the Constitution, again!

    Don't expect us to forgive and forget. We didn't have our Twinkies stolen. We were and continue to be attacked. Soldiers and politicians take an oath and pledge their lives to defend against the likes of MAGA. MAGA is and will continue to be the enemy until they are nothing but rotting trash in the dustbin of history.

    sadly he is the 2024 Republican Candidate, the threat is not over yet, but carry on

    when the Republican Party can get over him... that will be great, but as for now, he still lives rent-free in the Trumpers heads, would love to see America get over it

    But this is a Christmas thread... so enough about Trump... lol

    It was a Merry Christmas. I'm thankful we can all post on the PF and have different opinions. It's our military who earned us this freedom and today they protect our freedoms.
