    "Drag Queen Chrustmas" is a NATIONAL Tour (of performers from RuPaul's Drag Race).

    It has ALREADY Played Several States and Cities (With ZERO "Complaints" of the nature alleged in Florida)...
    There is another show TONIGHT (Dec. 29th):
    another stop on the show’s tour in Florida in Clearwater at Ruth Eckerd Hall received a warning over the show’s content.
    As previously reported, “A Drag Queen Christmas,” features former stars of the reality competition “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” The holiday-themed show goes on tour all over the U.S.
    ^I would suggest that it be Completely Videotaped to PROVE that there is NO "Sexually Explicit" Content...

    So the DeSantis administration is investigating sexually deviant drag shows being foisted onto little children. I have to say I strongly agree with him on this one.

    What is sexually deviant about drag performances?

    Why is a drag performance worthy of protest (often armed) but churches that have openly raped hundreds of children are still allowed to exist?

    Do you feel elementary school kids should be banned from beaches and swimming pools? Because those costumes have 10 times the fabric than some of the women wear and 15 times the fabric some of the men wear.

    I have no issues with performers that are fully dressed. I don’t think kids should be able to go to drag shows without a parent’s consent however.

    Exactly right. What's the purpose of showing off men dressed like women to innocent little school kids anyway?

    You didn’t answer the question

    Do you feel elementary school kids should be banned from beaches and swimming pools?

    I guess for the same reason children are exposed to any type of performance. Why is drag — something that has existed for centuries so bad in your mind and not other types of shows?

    So what? when I was a child we would go to see the pantomime every year at christmas... The lead male character was always played by a female and the lead female was always played by a male... did this grrom me? No, its something called... fun, let the people who want to see these things enjoy them and if you disagree... dont go

    Ah yes, a very nuanced and thought provoking response

    I wonder if people believed you were “degenerate” if you would support them trying to ban you from being around children? Or is that only something you get to determine?

    "According to the show's marketing material, production company Murray & Peter Present has held the drag queen tour for the past eight years. The show stopped in Miami at the James L. Knight Center on December 27 before heading to Orlando and Clearwater, Florida, for the final tour dates of the year.

    The Broward Center tells New Times that DBPR has not contacted it in connection with the probe.

    "Please note that admission to Drag Queen Christmas on December 26 was limited to patrons 18 years or older unless accompanied by a parent. To ensure patrons were aware of the adult themes and content in the show, this information was on the website and ticket purchase page; all ticket buyers were also informed directly through a 'Know Before You Go' email, a customer communication that is sent out in advance of most shows," the Broward Center said in a statement.

    On Instagram, attendees of the Fort Lauderdale show shared clips of the queens lip-syncing to songs like Mariah Carey's hit "All I Want for Christmas" in holiday-themed red and green dresses and candy-cane-striped bodysuits.

    A protester interrupted the event, loudly repeating that "it is not right" for children to be in attendance. The man was met with jeers from the crowd before leaving the theater. When police told him to vacate the premises or face jail, he proclaimed, "You should arrest them for having children at this thing."

    Critics of the tour have pointed to event descriptions that state "all ages are welcome." Footage of the Fort Lauderdale event shows the vast majority of the crowd were adults.

    Eric Swanson, a drag performer who attended the Broward event, says there was ample notice that adult humor would be in store for the audience.

    "What I saw was comedy, was schtick, was nothing different than what you see... on any given night flipping through your channels," Swanson tells New Times"
