Police arrest man in connection with brutal killings of four Idaho college students

Motive has not been disclosed. The suspect is a grad student at nearby Washington State University. He has a Master's in some filed of criminology & was pursuing a PhD.

Curiously, there have been no calls to prosecute the manufacturer/seller of the knife used to perpetrate this mass killing.

 

Waiting to see if the attacker had a license to conceal carry the knife. Authorities also suspect his Hyundai Elantra was a true EV which would be a first in a case like this.

 

Cursorily no-one on this forum has tried to claim (as they usually do) that the victims would never have died if there hand been a firearm in the house.

 

Carrying a knife has been a crime in Britain forever. I'll wager that'll wind up on Fidel Trudeau's radar ere long, following on the heels of his gun banning, which recently includes hunting rifles & shotguns. American libs are wicked envious of Justin Castro's big bro moves up north.

Quite often, in fact it's a standard MO especially in domestics which form the bulk of homicide incidents anyway. Doesn't mean the victim stays asleep of course but all to often it's too late when they do wake up.

We've never had a power outage here. In six years we've had six days at or below freezing and five of them were last week.
Biden spent the freeze soaking up sun in the Virgin Islands while 50+ Americans froze to death last week.

 

I'm just glad they caught him, and he won't get a chance to do the same thing to others. Some who knew him suggest it was revenge against women because he was so cruelly treated by women.

But he killed four innocent people, therefore he had to be a conservative, MAGA even. Conservatives are usually the ones that are OK with most of the violence and killing in our society.
Being a student, he probably couldn't afford to but an AR-15 and the required ammo to do the job. Besides guns are noisy and would wake up the others.
