Doesn't work that way. You are the one that brought up the single mother rates. Now you tell us why that is.

    The blame isn't white people.
History shows the blame. Starting with Slavery.
    And then discrimination. Systemic.
And it take at least 3 generations to end systemic systems. The laws can change, but minds don't change. For at least 3 generations.

It won't do them much good. What is being outlawed are the racist precepts, not the term.

How's the first video about CRT?

I thought the second kid was reasonable until he was complaining about not being able to put up an "all lives matter" banner (or something to that effect).

It was an example of something that has nothing to do with white people yet contributes to poverty. Its a proven fact that single motherhood (for whatever reason that they are single) contributes to poverty. If you wish to argue that systemic racism by whites is the reason that black single motherhood is so high compared to whites then you are the one that needs to make that argument. Not me. But then you're going to have to explain why in the 60's the black single motherhood rate was in the 20's and yet today they are in the 80's. There was FAR more systemic racism in the 60's than today (in fact, there is none today). Or you can admit to the fact that black single motherhood is a part of the cause the poverty rate being higher than pretty much any other race out there and has nothing to do with systemic racism by whites. Your choice.

Is it really your contention that white people today are not being blamed for things that happened in the past? Exclusively being blamed. History shows that black people in the US owned slaves and sold slaves. Why aren't they ever talked about? Why is absolutely NO blame attributed to black people for slavery? Indeed, the first legally recognized slave in the US was a white man, owned by a black man, did you know that?

Do you make your child a better Christian by blocking all access to other religions?
Is your child smarter if not exposed to other views?
    Or is the opposite true?
Mark Twain covers this over 100 years ago.

If you know only one side of an issue you are ignorant. Do not fear educating children so that they may not repeat our and our ancestor's mistakes.

Equity survey the students were asked to fill out. (equity is that racist bullshit down stream of CRT) and was told not to tell her parents of the survey she filled out. Which is a red flag that the questions were likely suspect. Anytime a teacher asks you to fill out a survey based on race and your teacher says "shhh don't tell your parents" That's a red flag.

    What are you talking about.

And just so your clear here...anything that talks about or deals with racial bullshit which includes equity inclusion is under the umbrella of CRT. Because equity either punishes or promotes based on race. So incase you are confused about what parents and politicians are referring too regarding CRT in schools, it's anything that hyper focuses on race.

We dont want that **** in our schools, we dont need that **** in our schools. It does nobody any good. It perpetuates hatred and divisions.

They mean something else by CRT. So best to just disable that word on them, by getting them to spell out that they mean racial discrimination and hate, and hold them to it. Then you get what you want, no?

We should all be celebrating this. Telling black children the system is biased against them and there is no hope isn’t gonna actually motivate them to put effort into legal professions

Not only that but absolutely ZERO attention has been on the Chinese who were enslaved and forced labor. Treated like sub human and yet magically survived, overcame and succeeded without the need to demand fingerpointing, blame or excuses for why they can't get ahead.

None of the videos posted proved a single thing that was claimed.

In fact, most every link showed exactly what I've told that poster.
There's no primary school curriculum for CRT.
It's college level elective, and the links provided were backing that college level programs up.

Are white people to be blamed?
There's some blame on white people, as in USA, white people were largely the largest segment of slave owners. Even went to war to keep slavery legal.

But that doesn't make talking about it today as blaming white people of today for what transpired 150+ years ago.
Talking about history is, well, talking about history. Is that what you claim is blame? That's what I get from all this nonsense about CRT and the blame game.

History shows blacks owned blacks in USA? OK, point to that data. Show your work.

It is a political football to them, I told the one who could not back up the claims with his/her links.

Every post with a link showed CRT is not a curriculum in primary schools and all bans put in by R governors, is just banning something that isn't an issue to normal people.
But yes, the take the CRT issues and transform talking about USA history and Civil war as an attack on white people. Because they don't really have issues that work.

Well there was this link, which has harsh words for people who deny CRT is being taught

Jonathan Zimmerman, a professor of the history of education at the University of Pennsylvania, believes it is “educational malpractice” not to teach students about critical race theory at the height of its cultural moment. But Zimmerman thinks it’s perverse to teach it and claim not to.

“I think it’s a defensive posture,” he said of progressives. “They know the Republicans have succeeded in demonizing it and I don’t think they have the confidence and the courage to defend it.”

Whoever this Collins is, he's an idiot.

Meritocracy (especially one built on standardized testing), is the LEAST racist of all possible models. It's the only one which selects purely on behaviour/performance, and doesn't factor in race or wealth or class or any other unimportant feature of the individual. The poorest black kid can gain access alongside the richest white kid. It's the only system where that's possible.

More idiocy ... selective schools select ONLY on academic performance. They're the only kind of 'prestige' school which doesn't care how wealthy or influential your parents are, or how poor they might be .... the only thing that matters is the kid's performance. That this idiot thinks kids are 'kept out' because they come from the wrong part of town is beyond laughable. The whole purpose of a selective school is to provide a higher level of education to those who otherwise couldn't afford it.
