Are those really the top 10, or have those particular entrants been specially picked? If it is the top 10, I am very surprised (and it is more notable than the U.S. not making the cut) that half would come from South America. I'm guessing your picture gallery has been curated. The South Americans, here, are also noticably light-skinned.

Btw, the one person, a country sends to represent them in the Miss Universe Patent, doesn't literally represent the racial makeup of the entire country. IOW, European (white) Westerners, are not "extinct."
