Now that is the kind of claim, I'm sorry to tell you, which requires actual evidence. That you saw some border guards on FOX NEWS, saying this, is not proof-- we've also had some doctors, make ridiculous claims about Covid and vaccines, with which the vast, vast majority of their profession, would completely disagree. IOW, a handful of guards, equates to nothing but hearsay.

It seems very strange, at least to me, that our borders could be "wide open," and yet there would be no evidence of this, other than the reports of a few border guards. This reminds me of the postal worker who, after the last election, went on some Right wing radio show, with claims of his Postmaster's illicit acts, and orders from his supervisor to the carriers, to break the law. But, when real investigators showed up, to look into his allegations, he balked at saying the same thing under oath, and ultimately admitted it had all been a story. Likewise, I think this story you're hearing on FOX, says more about the mentality of those border agents, than it does about objective fact.

Speaking of which, what is your basis for refuting all the eyewitness reports of full detention centers, and of immigrants being flown to distant parts of our border, before being walked over to the Mexican side? Those reports, I should take to be a lies, because reporters all liars-- unless they work for one of the outlets that you watch? Have even any of those, refuted that this administration is apprehending huge numbers, putting them in detention centers, and then shipping them to Mexico? Nevertheless, I should disbelieve what all the reporters say that they actually witness, yet utterly trust what just a few border guards say, because it is utterly beyond possibility, that they are either disgruntled workers, or that they are just rabidly anti-immigrant?

Even if reporters are all in on your conspiracy, below is quoted the deputy director of the ACLU's Immigrant Rights Project. It wouldn't really make sense that the ACLU would be complaining about the treatment of immigrants, if there was really nothing to complain about (even if it was in on the conspiracy). Or did this reporter simply make this up, and there is no Lee Gelernt, at all? Maybe there is not really an ACLU, either.
