    Don't you think UK politics is getting like the Yank's. We've seemed to have lost focus on policies, jobs, GDP etc.. and more interested in partygate, beergate, no sealt belts, character assassination etc..

    I will be so glad when this horse hockey stops being spread as it leads to ignorance.

    -Members of the opposing party often do not attend. Now former presidents not in attendance is rare, in fact T****'s absence was the first in over 150 years.

    -No, the Washington Post did not "declare" but rather reported, like many other outlets, that a movement to impeach T**** if he doesn't divulge his personal finances like all Congress and several presidents prior to him had. He never did despite promising to do so, repeatedly.

    -Yes, Pelosi did tear it up because it was so full of hate, divisiveness and lies. Good on her. Exaggerate, omit, not unusual but that SOTU out of 4 that he gave was spectacularly horrific and divisive.

    -$40 million on an investigation that resulted in charges against 34 individuals and 3 companies, 8 guilty pleas, and a conviction at trial, some trials pending arrest of foreign agents, but not T**** because the special prosecutor claimed to lack authority to do so, the special prosecutor did not ever say T**** was not involved. As opposed to Congress spending over $100 million on investigating Hillary Clinton resulting in ??? absolutely nada other than procedural corrections.

    Please try and refrain from repeating this nonsense. Ignorant people want to believe lies that support their ignorance.
