They offered quite a bit of evidence-- you should have watched! You can get a good overview of it, just from their two hour, final hearing. It is available, on You Tube.

I can only note the stark contrast between your automatic rejection of any accusations coming from Democrats, about Republicans, no matter how voluminous the proof, versus your acceptance, without question, of any accusations made by Republicans, against Democrats.

The evidence presented was more than simply circumstantial. But I am only replying to your comment, that the 1/6 Committee, had "no evidence." If you were found, covered in blood, and holding a knife, right after your neighbor was discovered slain, that might only be "circumstantial," but it would certainly qualify as credible evidence.

No, not at all. I believe in the system while acknowledging that it is not perfect and it fails at times.

 

The January 6th committee was empaneled to gather evidence.

That’s how it works, right before it expired the committee send its recommendations to the DOJ for possible criminal complaints…which are still pending.

 

I'm calling the evidence of the 01/06 committee circumstantial just like the evidence to investigate the Trump campaign was circumstantial.

But isn't the whole reason you are talking about this, at all, due to some allegation you are making about Schiff being dishonest, for presenting this "circumstantial" evidence? Isn't that what prosecutors do?
