No, that is not "clearly" evident. If you think this is so obvious, please try to find a reputable law enforcement authority, concurring with your ridiculous assertion.

 

That's not what one was trying to portray as a hate crime against blacks. Black cops, black victim.

How many times did the officers have to command Nichols put his hands behind his back for cuffing for example???IMO, more than 10 times then Nichols ran away.

Well, It was violence against a windowpane. BLM/ANTIFA committed a lot of violence against windowpanes.

 

That’s what I’m saying! The police did absolutely nothing wrong…with the one tiny exception of beating an unmanned fellow citizen to death. So what? Are we going to go around persecuting EVERY group of five men who gang up on an unarmed guy and kick and pummel him into the ground? That’s crazy talk!

As you say, you’d have to be and saint to make it thought life without occasionally beating a man to death. That’s much too high a standard.

And you’re right. Nichols misdeeds were much worse. 1) Poor driving. 2) Not obeying the policemen who, shortly thereafter, beat him to death, 3) Running away from the police who were beating him to death. Those are the sort of super-evil, highly dangerous acts that naturally lead to a man being killed by the police.

I for one feel much better knowing I live in a society where disobeying the police can lead to them beating me to death! That’s true freedom!

???? Any beating would have been wrong, deadly or not. Simply not needed. Punishment for contempt of cop. See it frequently in long police chases. Run by car or foot for long enough to piss off the 5 or 6 cops chasing, when they finally do capture the perp, their tactics are the product of being really pissed off. And sometimes can be pretty brutal even if the perp is in the fetal position on the ground. Its wrong. AND its still wrong for the perp to run from the cops. He could of not run, given up and skipped the beating.

 

The videos showing the brutal beating which led to the death of Tyre Nichols can be shown as the go-to to change attitudes.

 

I certainly know what it means.

You best hurry up and let the prosecutor know that Nichols was "resisting arrest", he musta missed that part.
