Essentially people need to be skeptical. This can be hard because everyone wants to hear something that proves them right.

So you need to be skeptical of information that suggests that you're right.

The desire to be correct and vindicated in your correctness is what makes it possible to gaslight people.

Essentially don't believe everything that you hear. No matter where you hear it from.

 

No. They limited what I could say and who I could use to support what I believe so I left them and came here.

 

MBFC is one like that with one who knows nothing of the media and his “volunteers” making unscientific opinions as to what media is what. Simply ridiculous.

Did you bother looking up their credentials or do you just like what they tell you and accept it?

 

Really, I've looked it over pretty thoroughly and I don't see that. Actually what I see is they do a very in depth look at each site and try to involve the site itself. AND, if you look at their ratings they are just as hard (accurate) on Left leaning sites, as they are Right. What you don't like is when people use them to evaluate your sources they invariably come up right to far-right leaning; it's not MBFC's fault that's all you have your nose in.

 

See my post #120, yes I read their methodology, it looks thorough to me; and credible. "THEY" don't seem to be biased in their reporting either, they call the cards as they lay. I don't think you have "looked up their credentials" or checked what they report; you just don't like what they say about the sites you quote; that's not MBFC's fault it's yours for not reading a balance diet of sources.
