President Trump Calls for Canceling AT&T DirecTV After Newsmax Dropped

I would love to see him run in 2024 and maybe even 2028 — after that point I think there will be enough gen y & z to finally silence the BS.

 

yeah, we’ve had enough insanity from the left side of the table lately. Maybe if the pubs and independent folks find some happy middle ground we can move forward and knock off the childishness we’ve seeing now.

 

I don't watch Newsmax so I don't see the need to cancel DirectTV. IMHO, it's AT&T's choice, but people who are inconvenienced by their decision should make their voices known, and cancelling a service has always been an effective way of doing it. I don't see anything wrong with what Trump suggests. I remember when the House Democrats lobbied to cancel, NewsMax. OANN and even Fox News stating that they were a destabilizing threat to America.

There's that double standard again. Cancel Culture for House Democrats but not for Trump.

 

And AT&T has acted by canceling OAN and NewsMax on their behalf as they asked

Aren't OANN and Newsmax facing multi-billion dollar lawsuits? That's typically not someone companies want to get involved with.

Well, maybe a profit driven business is able to make a profit with MSNBC. The three viewers of Newsmax don’t make it seem like it would bring in advertising dollars

 

Not to make an argument for leftists here, but Bloomberg was dropped from DirecTV about a year ago due to contract disputes. I was livid! It was off for a month or so then they came to an agreement. Hopefully newsmax comes back.
