If you want to only look at this particular instance and removed the one where he was trespassed and asked to leave for soliciting then wasn’t removed which makes your OP a lie.

As long as a shirt isn’t vulgar then I see no reason to have them removed but it’s always funny to see the same people screaming gay people are shoving it down everyone’s throats are the same ones that don’t see the irony of the religious symbolism that is everywhere.

Private schools frequently set their own policy for admission so this is just the next step.

Do you have an issue with religious schools banning gay students and sometimes even the children of gay parents? Or does it only become an issue for you when it is white mean getting the short end of the stick?

I don't think this has anything to do with the shirt itself. Most malls do not like proselytizing at all in the mall on private property. To them, it is against their solicitation policy in general. It is also why you won't see Girl Scout cookies to be sold there. And in places like grocery stores, they ask permission. Some say yes, and some say no. So, he was probably told to stop, he didn't by coming back again, and now they kicked him out because mall shoppers don't want to be bothered at all except to eat and buy stuff, two the best pastimes in America Pax.

I believe that is known as hypocrisy.

Totally agree. To be honest I don’t even care about vulgar words on a shirt, but I get why a mall, store, restaurant, etc would object to vulgar language on a shirt. Jesus saves however is harmless, provided the person wearing it isn’t bugging people about the message. Then I have a problem with it. Worship any god you want, just don’t come up to me and confront me about it.

One, it is a private university. Second, I thought conservatives have no qualms about what private property does, just the government. Third, the link to the article is trying to use fake outrage on this issue. Fourth, there is an obvious security concern here, whether you agree with it or not, about one group or subgroup of people and another group of people. It solves the immediate problem but is not the long-term solution IMO.

He claims he didn't say anything, and it wouldn't be the first time someone yells 'harassment!' just because they're offended by a slogan someone is wearing. Do you have a source he was actually 'trying to force his chosen religious beliefs onto others', or are you, as the mall security appears to be, equating that with just wearing a slogan on a shirt?

TBC- the mall should be able to kick anyone out for anything it wants, but I think it would be reasonable to expect them to post somewhere at the entrances 'no Christian symbolism' or something like that, if that's what they're going to enforce.

He was successfully trespassed from the mall for solicitation previously so… I guess the mall and police could have conspired against him. Maybe AntiFa was involved? I bet the FBI also had something to do with it and were getting their information from Hunter Biden.

Do you have a source of him getting kicked out of the mall as per the false OP?

I didn't say the mall kicked him out. I said they should be able to, if they make the rules clear. And its not my OP.

I take it you don't have any evidence he was 'harassing' people either, beyond wearing a potentially offensive slogan. Which is kinda the point- thats not 'harassment', its just being treated as harassment as our collective concept of freedom of speech continues to be eroded into meaninglessness by an increasing number of people who seem to think they have a 'right' to not be offended.

I have the statement from the mall itself that says he was kicked out previously due to soliciting and harassment of other patrons. Do you have something to dispute that?

The shirt wasn’t the issue in the first case and it is why he wasn’t removed in the second because he wasn’t harassing anyone.

What schools ban gays? I’m thinking any school that did would lose gov funding, be protested to death and then burned to the ground. And how would a school know if a kid or the parents were gay?

It maybe it was racism. The people can find oppressive racism on a syrup bottle can usually find it in anything. I’m not saying what happened here is racist but the people who normally cry about racism in everything are suddenly no where to be found.

Private schools generally do not get government money, and they can set any rules they want for admission, and being gay has and is one of the things they ban.

To be clear, in the second case, he neither had to remove his shirt or leave the mall.

By one employee and was told if he didn’t bother people he could remain and keep the shirt on. He was not ejected in the second case

Thank you, Steve, for underlining why no one should take social media as gospel.

Great job of ruining the OPs thread. Even his fellow righties aren't here defending him.

    So, you support discrimination, now?

If you consider it to be discrimination to remove people that are harassing others then absolutely.

Do you no longer support discrimination for any reason or do you just believe people professing religious preference should be able to do as they please?

What’s misleading? Was or wasn’t he told to remove the shirt or leave? There’s a video of it.
