The Nazis lied when they offered the Soviet Union a non-aggression pact as they continued to build up their military on the border. NATO lied about not one inch closer as they were providing weapons to Ukraine and military training. Putin said he invaded first this time because Russia wasn’t going to make the same mistake, especially when he realized the west had no intention of honoring the Minsk Agreement.

 

Look at a map please. We've wanted to put antiair missile batteries in Ukraine, like we did with Poland and the Baltics. It takes 1/2 a day to convert those launchers to fire Tomahawks. Anyone with common sense knows Russia will never tolerate this, and just like we were in Cuba in 1963, they are prepared to go all the way to prevent it.

The only anti air missiles we had planned on was in Poland and Romania until the Chicken Schiest Obama got scared off by Putin. The missiles were purely defensive. This earthquake theory seems a little far fetched, I find. There is plenty of power left in the USA, especially together with Israel and Canada/Britain, to have to get that desperate.

There probably wasn't an imminent attack on Russia by NATO backed Ukraine. Russia's history of distrust for the West was reason enough for Putin to attack first before Ukraine's military became much stronger. Even now Russia is struggling to defeat Ukraine. It was always going to be Russia's call as long as NATO continued to creep towards Russia's border. The blame game is over, now both sides must work to prevent the war from spreading.

 

Do you read history or you just make up your own facts. NATO was founded in 1949 , same year Germany was divided into two. Six years later in 1955 West Germany joined NATO.

NATO was formed to stop Russian aggression.

It is true that Europe doesn’t have Military hardware as much as USA does. But EU+UK combined GDP is 19.7 trillion that itself is bigger then Russia+China+India+Iran+Pakistan+North Korea. You don’t always need military hardware or as you call it “ bows and arrows” to fight modern day warfare, you can win a war with mighty economic power like 19.7 trillion GDP.

EU+UK needs America and America Needs EU+UK. This has been the case for last 100 years, and this will be the case for next 100 years.

 

There was more to this as their relationship was fractured to begin with. Evidently, Stalin had the plans to eventually attack Germany but the Nazi's invaded early by surprise.
