    Ahahaha.... An almost biblical motive - a herd of pigs was sent to be slaughtered for the sake of profits and the interests of the oligarchs.
    And as a result, Russian soldiers massacre the pigs.
    At the same time, the advancing Russians are a minority. And Russians in the minority exterminate herds of brainless pigs by the thousand.
    At the same time, the leadership of Ukraine, addict Zelensky, declares that he will not withdraw his stupid herd from this meat grinder.
    And this is good. The Russians can continue to dispose of the stupid Ukrainian herd in the targeted area.

    By the way, pay attention - this is written in the Ukrainian propaganda press.

    Well, it clearly isn't "propaganda press" by definition or they wouldn't have published this article in the first place. It seems The Kyiv Independent is indeed an honest publication, Ukrainian based and supporting, but still reporting the facts, good, bad or indifferent.

    I appreciate this concept may be alien to you since you are clearly embedded deep in the Russia media where everything is propaganda because anything and anyone who isn't gets aggressively stamped out. I mean, can you identify any Russian-based media producing anything like this from the Russia soldiers point of view, talking about difficulties, concerns and failures (even if the wider context is positive)?

    Tough choice for the Ukrainians, it must be very tempting to send their new Leopard tanks storming to the rescue but better to wait, cede the ground and then when they're ready use those tanks as an armoured spearhead to cut the Russian supply lines, let them wither on the vine,

    If Zar Putin had foreseen the outcome of the war, he would not have started it.

    I read different points of view. (unlike you) I mostly read Western media. And what they wrote in a Ukrainian propaganda publication shows that even they are beginning to grasp reality.

    It's been over a year.

    Russia can't even defeat a rag tag band of nazi's who apparently don't even have bullets.

    It's been a year.

    Mop up continues.

    Who told you not have bullets .. better source of info you need .. Uki's firing 7000 artillery shell/day.

    Problem is - many experts assess that by end of summer they will be running low on ammo ... with no ability to resupply as current utilization is many times higher than NATO ability to produce. Is quite a logistical and production pickle NATO has wandered into.

    You will soon see for yourself - Western tanks don't matter. The only thing Leopards, Challengers and Abrams can do is help some Russian soldiers earn extra money. (By the way, Russian soldiers the real are looking forward to these tanks. A good reward is assigned for destroying them and an even greater reward is assigned for a whole tank).
    The Russians have enough means to destroy any of these tanks without even coming into contact with them. For example Russian helicopters have missiles capable of destroying any tank with a single shot. At the same time the range of a helicopter rockets is up to 20 kilometers.
    Or compare the characteristics of the Russian T 90 "breakthrough" and..., for example "Leopard 2".
    The Russian tank is much lower than the German tank, weighs less, so it is more maneuverable and harder to hit. In a moving equal combat this is a weighty factor.
    Aiming range of the T-90SM "Proryv" tank:
    - with sub-caliber/cumulative projectiles - up to 4 km;
    - guided missiles - up to 5 km;
    - high-explosive ammunition - up to 10 km.
    Leopard 2 and other foreign counterparts have a maximum range of only 3 km, so it will be difficult for them to approach the Russian Proryv.

    And the main features.

    Leopard 2А7
    - average weight - 65 tons. This is a very heavy tank.
    - height - 2.79 m;
    — armor — protivosnaryadnaya combined;
    - frontal projection of the tower - 50 cm thick;
    - frontal body armor - 35 cm thick;
    - gun - smoothbore, caliber 120 mm;
    - shell kit - 42 ammunition;
    - engine - 1500 hp;
    - speed - 65 km / h on a flat road;
    - power reserve - 220 km (over rough terrain);
    - crew - 4 fighters.

    T-90SM
    - average weight - 48 tons. Less than 17 tons!
    - height - 2.23 m. More than half a meter lower!
    — armor — protivosnaryadnaya combined;
    - protection of the undercarriage, turret, hull - differentiated, hinged, dynamic;
    - gun - smoothbore, caliber 125 mm;
    - shell set - 40 ammunition, including several types of artillery shells and 9K119M Reflex-M missiles;
    - engine - 1130 hp, multi-fuel;
    - speed - up to 70 km / h on a flat road;
    - power reserve - 500 km (over rough terrain);
    - crew - 3 fighters.

    There will be enough bullets to kill the sausage Putin sends to the meat grinder. Don't fret.

    If he's lucky, maybe Ukraine will send some of the meat back to Russia so Putin can reward the mothers with baskets of their own son's meat.

    Not according experts who matter but you got one thing right .. for the moment - its a "Me at Grinder" .. into which Vlad is sending convicts and Biden is sending green teenagers. The life expectency of these teen lads at the front ~ 4 hours in Bakhmut so will be plenty of baskets of meat for Ukrainian Mothers .. as you suggest.

    Ahahaha... Don't worry about the Russians. They are fine. And everything is going according to plan. You look - a year has passed, but the European economy has already turned into a pumpkin. Russians have increased their territory by 5 new regions, Russia's budget surplus has grown rapidly and significantly. Russians in Africa are now number 1. They drove out all the colonizers. Russia, China and Iran are thinking about a new military bloc, in comparison with which the NATO bloc looks ridiculous .... In general, the Russians are doing well. You better look at yourself. :roflol::roflol::roflol:

    Biden isn't sending anyone.

    Russia has been at this a year.

    A year later, we have learned that Russia is not a military power. They are basically a bigger more aggressive version of North Korea. Their Nuclear weapons are the only reason they are even remotely relevant. Without the threat of mutually assured destruction, Russia would be Yemen.

    LOL

    Russia just had their worst economic month since that alcoholic Yeltsin was in charge. The ruble has lost 25% of its value in the last 3 months.

    You need to change your name to Destroyer of reality.

    You don't have to worry about the Russians. They're doing fine. Prices are not going up. A lot of things have gotten cheaper. (e.g. computer equipment and electronics became cheaper by 30%), there are plenty of products and they are cheap.... So all is well with them.
    The time of the alcoholic and scoundrel Yeltsin is long gone.

    I didn't ask what you read, I challenged your accusation that this publication is propaganda, despite highlighting a clearly non-propaganda article. You can't have it both ways. It's like saying you're a vegetarian but you eat steak.

    My question remains as to whether there is any Russian-based news organisation which would publish an article with any similar negative or critical elements regarding the Russian forces. You say you mostly read Western media but given your apparent affinity with and support of Russia and Putin, if there was any independent media published in Russia, you would be aware of and reading it.

    All Russian media and TV very often criticize the authorities in Russia. The Russian media very rarely praise the Russian authorities at all. And they almost always criticize the special operation in Ukraine - they write that the Russian government has shown excessive and inappropriate humanism in carrying out this special operation.
    Also, many are literally demanding bombing strikes (at any level) against countries supplying arms to Ukraine.

    Unfortunately, there are sometimes mile-long lines for food in the United States. http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ffers-a-warning-as-covid-benefits-end.608847/
    At least, that's what the Washington Post says.

    However, if, as Trump said, the U.S. has handed over $140 billion to Ukraine....
    And yet the U.S. doesn't even have an extra $50 billion, which is how much they need to repair all the railroad tracks across the country.
    American railroads are so worn out that trains derail regularly, by the dozens a year. The vinyl chloride accident in Ohio only resonated because of environmental concerns.
    Just so you know, the entire U.S. Department of Transportation budget is $20 billion a year. That is, they spend 7 times less on all roads than they gave to Ukraine in one year.
    Everyone has heard that there is a huge problem with health insurance in the United States. (This is one of the most important items on any president's campaign agenda in recent decades.)
    Now, do you know how much it costs to fix this problem?
    200 billion dollars.
    Just "some" $200 billion, and all Americans, enslaved by medicine, will be freed from slavery. 200 billion and all the medical debts of all U.S. citizens will be solved.
    It costs $20 billion a year to treat all cancer patients in the U.S. for 1 year. That is, for $140 billion, the U.S. could pay for cancer treatment for all of its citizens for 7 years.
    But these funds are passed on to Ukraine.
    Not the homeless, not health insurance, not dilapidated railroads, not cancer patients, not migrant streams--none of these things have money in the U.S. budget.
    But 140 billion to help the Ukrainian fascists does.

    And you vote for it.

    The US is very comfortably doing better than any country in the world.

    We do appreciate your concern though.

    Your claim that the US-NATO is not helping Ukraine in the war against Russia is woefully false and your unsupported claim that Russia is not a military power is also false.
