Prof Suspended for Post Saying It’s ‘Admirable to Kill a Racist, Homophobic, or Transphobic Speaker’

Authoritarianism is authoritarianism - communism and fascism are the same thing. They are both authoritarian, and consequently reside on the left side of the spectrum.

The only form of government under which freedom can be sustained is a republican government, in which the the government itself is constrained by law.

 

Meanwhile Republicans want to ban abortion, and drag performances, and trans athletes, which by your logic makes then Authoritarian Leftists.

 

The vast majority don't want to ban abortion, just limit when it can occur.

I don't know anybody who wants to ban drag performances, just not allow them in front of children.

Nobody wants to ban trans athletes, just not allow biological men to compete against women.

If you want to have a conversation, try being honest first.

And honestly, when it comes to wanting gov't control of things, it's your side that pushes for that FAR MORE than the right.

 

It seems you equate a society having social standards based on cultural norms with authoritarianism.

If that is the case your prescription for freedom would be anarchy, no??

And since anarchy resides on the far-right of the political spectrum, that would make you a right-wing extremist, yes??

As for your anemic attempt at triggering, the issue of abortion has legitimate arguments on both sides.

The push to normalize drag-queens is sad, pathetic, and has no place in a stable society. But since the goal of the left is to destabilize our society, I do understand why you're pushing it. (Be careful what you wish for).

As for trans athletes, I can only assume you people want to force biological women out of athletics - cuz testosterone, bone density, and muscle mass are a thing, ya know
