There's no reason for most students to struggle his high school mathematics.

Palos Verdes... deep in the heart of radical, left wing, communist, anti-American, freedom hating California!

So your answer is to make it harder for single family homes?

So you think cutting safety net programs, would improve the lives of poor people?

Not at all. My answer is to stop incentivizing dads to disappear from families. Instead of making single family homes more lucrative, make it more lucrative for families to stay together. Help moms and dads with kids to STAY TOGETHER rather than making it inviting to separate. Staying together should have financial advantages rather than financial penalties.

I know what you are saying.

You seem to think that the majority of single family homes exist because the mothers want that extra welfare money.

If you think this would make any sort of meaningful difference, shows that you are really out of touch with reality.

Sorry, you are the one out of touch. If having dad move out and get hard to find means their kid(s) will get fed and they won't if he stays... he's gone.

The fact that you think this represents a meaningful percentage of single family homes is disappointing.

Until Trump, Palos Verdes was a very conservative area. Homes today average more than $3m. These folks aren't interested in ignorant MAGA social policies. Street crime? Virtually nonexistent.

Was crime higher when the population was more conservative? All your data shows is that these areas are virtually free of crime and homlessness, almost as free of them as the conservative area where I live.

I think safety net programs have created MORE poor people over the years by incentivizing certain behaviors. It also has destroyed the family unit when babies=money. More babies=more money.

Essentially it replaced fathers with govt and insures generational voting patterns.

Ever wonder why single parent homes were FAR less back in the 60s vs today?

I doubt the Palos Verdes population has changed, but I think the Republican Party has moved to the right.
Like I said, MAGA is not needed or wanted in Palos Verdes. They don't have a homeless problem. I don't see how you could have a significantly better homeless problem.

    Correct.

We have too many PE teachers in math classrooms.

Then those private schools are going to lose out to other schools that are more competent.

I'm for separation of school and state, just to be clear.

And struggling with English, with Science and most other things. Kids don't learn by accident, it is the roles of the teachers that have deteriorated. That is primarily due to the management of education, not the choices of the individual teachers. The people responsible for that system have become political and let ideology displace reason, logic, competence and achievement.
The leaders in education- have become mis-leaders without morals or focus.

We have tolerated far too many things like this. It has to stop.

Get the government out of education. Unless we want our schools to be mirror images of the DMV.

I see you say "Trump Loves the Poorly Educated". I'd say- yes he does, along with the well educated. After all, the dems despise those people and abandon them. Trump thinks leaders should serve all Americans, even the people who have no compassion and no savvy, but think they are superior.

That is a key difference between the left and the right. The right knows all of us are citizens. The left.... hasn't figured that out.

Seems like we should dump self refuting conspiracy theories like CRT and focus on reality.

Why is it so important to jam this hokem into everything?

Ceteris paribus, yes, but some schools are tied to churches.
I support school vouchers. Most parents of school age children can't afford private school tuition.
