He has Secret Service protection for life, by law. His security detail can't be withdrawn.

No prison in the country is going to allow armed agents to be present inside the prison.

They have guards and numerous criminals many of which would love to kill Trump and inmates do get killed in Supermax prisons.

That is the crux of the problem A lot of people would. He would be a target in any prison and in spite of how much they hate him, he has to be protected and there is simply no way to guarantee he would not be killed. The fact that they hate him does not justify putting him in a position where being killed is practically inevitable.

. . . people in our country have ALWAYS been put in incarcerated before a guilty verdict. What the hell are you talking about? Do you not know what jail is? Have you never even watched a legal show at least?

We dare them to jail him for free speech. You might as well hand him the keys to the White House.

The Latest Trump Indictment Is Backfiring.

'A new poll conducted Aug. 2-7, which is entirely after the latest indictment by Special Counsel Jack Smith, shows that Trump now leads Biden in a 2024 rematch. The survey by Premise found that Trump garners the support of 42% of registered voters, while Joe Biden gets 38%, giving Trump a 4-point advantage.'

'many experts panned the indictment for being weak and for criminalizing free speech.'

'Independents do not like the indictments and a majority of all voters agree the indictments are political and attack free speech.'

'independent voters are concerned about a weaponized justice system.'

. . . dude, holding people until trial is LITERALLY what jail, as opposed to prison, is FOR. And, yes, violating court orders is a good way to end up there. And judges REGULARLY regulate speech pending trial. This is no more "free speech" than soliciting a bribe is free speech. How have you guys become adults not knowing this basic ****?

Considering it's pretty standard for many Federal Cases, the Judge doesn't have grounds NOT to issue a gag order. Citizen Trump isn't
    anything special.

    Then jail him.

Indict him for free speech to rig the election.
Demand he refrain from free speech to protest the rigging.
Then jail him when exercises his free speech, which he will, and we all know it.

And while they try to control the election through politicization of the DOJ, they make the case for the Trump Presidency. As you watch it all slip away from you, try not to get too upset.

Here's cute puppy video, no one loves this super slide like this cute puppy does.

Let's see just how dumb this judge is. She seem filled with hate, the ultimate robed Karen. She's about to become infamous. We'll wait.

That's a possibility. That's literally what we are talking about.

He isn't indicted for "free speech."

None of this controls the election. And please show me where you said it was election interference when John Edwards or Clinton were being investigated.

Yet Trump's supporters hate democracy and the rule of law more than this judge hates anything in her life.

She was already short listed for the Supreme Court, I doubt her convicting some Bozo as a traitor is going to end her career.

Because solitary confinement would be cruel and unusual punishment not justified by the crimes.

Attempting to steal a US election should be a treason charge. I disagree that it doesn’t match the crimes. A few of his team should be in the rooms beside him.

Then jail him. We dare you.
He is, and that's why the indictment will fail. Are you going to disappear when we call this to your attention after the charges fail to stick, for exactly the reason we immediately told you they would fail?
And yet, we aren't the ones indicting our opponents for speech that is constitutionally protected from the government or threatening to lock up Biden's leading opponent for free speech.

I think that Judge is so drunk with her own power and so blinded by her Trump hatred that she's going to lock him up.

Trump's awaiting her order, so that he can promptly call a rally of tens of thousands and live national coverage, show her that he will not be curbed by her unconstitutional attempt to silence him.

All Trump is doing is exposing how completely insane and out of control these folks are.

So, Go Ahead, Make Our Day.

I have no doubt that some Trump supporters will engage in terrorism if Trump is held to the rule of law. They've done so before.

The fact that none of you are even willing to talk about the actual indictment tells me you are full of ****. The indictment is pretty rock-solid.

Criminal conspiracy is not protected speech. And unless emails are not speech, then (according to your own standard) investigating Clinton was a violation of her free speech.

Nope, she's just actually familiar with the law . . . unlike Trump's current defenders. And she hasn't ordered him to be locked up yet. If she were really so "drunk on power," she would have locked him up the day he was arraigned.

I have no doubt he will call the most blind of his followers again.

I'm sorry that you are upset that some of us care about the law.

Then he can go in gen pop. Holding the job for 4 years doesn’t give you criminal immunity for life. That’s nutty.
