They could be more inclusive and call it Mental Illness Month.

Nope. You are allowed to have your opinion. What makes me upset is that when someone gets assaulted because they are or support the LGBT community, it gets ignored as a potential hate crime by the usual suspects.

The usual suspects think it's literally impossible for an LGBT person to be assaulted for their orientation, yet make thread after thread whining and complaining about LGBT people and are shocked when someone acts in that hate.

 

What were your thoughts when Riley Gaines was spit on, assaulted and had to lock herself in her room with police protection because the usual suspects disagreed with her opinion?

Nah, I personally think the month recognition thing is stupid. I understand a day of remembrance for someone like MLK, or veteran's day(even though on the fundamental basis of it, that's just as stupid as well, but at least I get it.) but the whole month recognition thing, all it does is enable those group differences, and not so much the unity of an entire nation.

We have come to a time where increasingly, nothing is American anymore. What is the US? Nobody knows. Purportedly to 'stand for democracy around the world' and all that smooth jazz, except no one abroad really asked. The EU is the main benefactors while not contributing much to the defense of their own 'democracy'. Meanwhile, as the arm of democracy we are in contest with the major Eastern powers, isn't that fun!

Month recognition isn’t hurting anybody and this country has never once been unified as a whole in its entire history, and that’s not ever gonna change.

 

Our country's foundation, the rule of law and ideas of freedom within Magna Carta derived from Britain. I've always thought we should acknowledge a day, a week or a month celebrating and honoring our "Mother" country from whence crucial values came from.

I love this idea, for trans history month they should dedicate a large portion of the "history" talking about the godfather of gender identity John Money. They can let everyone know about all his pro pedophile views and how he did sexual incestual experiments on children. Make sure to post his insane quotes to really drive home the insanity of the whole thing from the beginning.

The saying “any publicity is good publicity” comes to mind here. For all the talk that you, the OP and several other posters here do on a regular basis about how bad trans people are, you’re giving them a lot of free publicity with these posts by letting them live rent free in your heads.
